IBM Domain Name Services (DNS) Description

IBM Cloud provides enterprise-grade, public and private authoritative domain names system services. It offers fast response times, unmatched redundancy, and advanced security. IBM Cloud domain name service services convert domain name requests into IP addresses. All domains can be managed via IBM's user-friendly interface, or by API. IBM Cloud DNS Services offers name resolution for virtual machines within a VPC network as well as between VPC networks. To determine which VPC networks have access to the DNS zone information, users can create their DNS zones and add individual IPs to each zone. All IBM Cloud Multizone Regions are available to ensure DNS services are fast and highly available. Only authorized VPC networks can access your DNS records. This includes GDPR-sensitive IP information and hostname information. When a private VPC or public network queries your zones, they should point to different addresses.
