Hub-Equity Description
Hub-Equity transforms the XBRL and iXBRL submissions from publicly traded companies to the SEC in the United States and under ESEF regulations in Europe into uniform income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for over 12,500 issuers.
Both US-GAAP and IFRS filers utilize a unified schema, enabling direct line-by-line comparisons between American and European firms. Each data point is linked back to its original filing and the corresponding fiscal period, while restatements are displayed alongside the original and modified values, highlighting the filing that prompted the change.
Users can access the platform in three distinct ways: through a web interface featuring company pages, a screener, cross-issuer comparisons, and the option for Excel or JSON exports; via a REST API and Python SDK, which can be installed with `pip install hub-equity` and is thoroughly documented at docs.hub-equity.com; or through an MCP server that supports AI agents like Claude, Cursor, and Continue, allowing for the extraction of any figure along with its source filing, historical time series, and restatements.
All subscription plans receive identical data and verification checks, with pricing based on throughput and available tools rather than data quality, making it accessible for all users. The Free plan is particularly appealing as it requires no credit card and never expires, encouraging long-term exploration of its capabilities.
