Summary: Houzz Pro has helped my firm scale and is really quite seamless from the designer and client sides. Definitely recommend.
Positive: The features are so specifically tailored to designers and how a design firm functions - it's wonderful! I love the ability to customize shared features with clients and the rest of my team too.
Negative: Price - a bit expensive for what my firm needs.

Summary: Great overall for basic models. You may need to upgrade for more intricate structural details, like custom arches and classic structural details
Positive: Easy for a beginner modeler to draw and layout designs. If general layouts are all you're after, than this is for you.
Negative: Definitely becomes more complicated when trying to make the more intricate details of your design. Multiple finishes on walls and making half walls, on the ceiling or from the floor

Summary: Overall I am content with the software. We use it daily for estimating and lead/client tracking and change orders. It is great for takeoff ideas but there is a lot of room for improvement still. The nice thing is that if you request certain things from the support staff they will put a suggestion in for that item, so occasionally features get added, which is nice.
Positive: Good estimating features, takeoff options, and customization. We like how we can customize our estimates to meet the needs of our clients, show/hide specific lines and save templates we use often. The takeoff features are great because you can mock up an existing or proposed floorplan with some basic features.
Negative: Lacking on the client facing side, subcontractor side, and document management. I wish you could track subcontractor COI expiration, W-9's, subcontractor agreements, clients scope of work per trade, etc. I also wish the design/takeoff feature allowed you to build decks/screen porches and expanded selection features for interior and exterior spaces.

Summary: I would be interested in keeping the service if the pricing was more reasonable or if I had a better return on investment. At this point, I'm not seeing any results.
Positive: I liked the name recognition, the customer service, and I had good results within the first couple of months.
Negative: After a while the leads stopped and I realized I would be paying too much for a long period of time.

Summary: I actually do like the software quite a bit, for the most part it is wonderful. Where it really goes down hill for me is the financial part of it. It is so lacking and clunky. That part of it needs a lot of attention. You HAVE to enter a PO, then log payment on PO, why not add the option to manually enter a material or vendor invoice. The accounting/financial portion of this feels very much like an after thought. Everything else is awesome. I hard a hard time deciding between a 3 or a 4 so I went with the 3.
Positive: Client/Leads module, one of the best I have seen (and I have seen a lot).
Marketing module makes it so easy to create and send campaigns at any level of expertise.
The estimating and take-off module is miles above other software in it's category.
The 3D Floor Plans Tool - so easy to use and the accuracy is awesome, I have wasted so much time playing with tool (and I mean that in a great way.
The interface is very user-friendly and easy to navigate.
Converting the leads to a project is so seamless and easy.
The invoicing module and client interface all top tier.
The schedule module is so easy to use for anyone.
The dashboard is easy to navigate and follow.
Ideabooks & Mood Board are such an awesome feature.
Tasks are also great.Negative: The "Certification" is very lacking, it doesn't deep dive into any of the modules except the 3D Floor and even that is lacking.

The entering of project "outgoing" money is very lacking.
The financial reporting capabilities is also very lacking.
Have to invite subs and vendors to add them to the projects is aggressive and unnecessary. -

Summary: I hope we can work out everything and it becomes a great system for us. But currently is very difficult.
Positive: Hopefully having everything in one place that all of the team can access and use daily, from our administrative staff to employees out in the field.

Summary: My experience has been frustrating, but I am hopeful that as soon as I can meet with my dedicated support person, that I will feel much more comfortable. I joined Houzz on 6/7 and could not get an appointment with her until 7/20.
Positive: I liked that Houzz was based on my previous design software - Ivy. I also like that my website and social media can be managed on this platform, and I look forward to being able to utilize the tools that are new to me on Houzz.
Negative: The basic accounting tools are almost identical, however, there are almost too many bells and whistles and not enough quick support. I am also asked for feedback constantly.

Summary: Overall, I value Houzz Pro for its ability to streamline business operations, enhance client communication & facilitate marketing efforts within the home design & remodeling industry. My negative points reflect potential areas where I had some concerns or areas where Houzz Pro should continue to improve based on feedback from accustomed users as me!
Positive: As an Interior Designer using Houzz Pro, I praise it for its comprehensive set of tools designed specifically for home design & remodeling professionals like myself. It offers robust project management tools that help me organize & track all aspects of my projects, from initial client contact to final invoicing. I also appreciate the visualization tools that help my clients see design ideas in 3D & understand proposed changes more clearly.
Negative: My personal dislikes lie in the aspects of cost (pricing of Houzz Pro is on the higher side compared to other similar software or platforms). It has a learning curve for my new interns who are not familiar with its interface & features. They sometimes find it overwhelming! I also experienced occasional delays in responses & difficulty in getting timely assistance especially with the design tools.

Summary: Overall it is good, that is why I am still a customer. The 3d planner is great for showing customers what their space could look like.
Positive: A good place for potential customers to locate a pro from a site that specifically is geared to the industry, instead of a generic search engine.
Negative: The software is robust...too much for a company that already has procedures in place. If you are starting out, this would be a great one stop integration service.

Summary: Awful, terrible, couldn't describe it in a worse way. They don't reply either. Clearly don't care about their reputation online.
Positive: Nothing - I got played by them.
All they do is send you emails and try to book you in for a call.
They gave me 0 genuine leads.Negative: Customer service.
