Positive: Its dashboard contains a great number of features to schedule, track and create posts. The UI design is intuitive. The post-insight feature is very useful to track and analyze user interests. Easy to link multiple social media accounts.

Negative: Till now, I haven't found any downside of this platform.

Summary: I use Hootsuite to manage two different social media applications, and it has been a great journey scheduling all my content with this software. It has helped me have more organization around the social media accounts and it has helped with the creation of content ahead of time for a better engagement. Hootsuite has multiple tools that make for a great management of social media and it empowers all my accounts by allowing me to have access to different metrics that help me understand how our public engages with our content and with our products; as a result, this helps me keep creating more visually-stunning content that everyone will be happy with. Hootsuite has made things easier because I no longer have to set reminders for these types of posts and accidentally forget about them, I can schedule them and let the software do its job, I can visualize all my posts in one beautiful dashboard and have an upfront decision on what will be posted based on how everything looks all put together with older posts, making things more automated and simple.

Positive: Hootsuite is a great solution to plan all social media posts in advance, it has a very robust interface that connects with many social media applications for better management of these. I like that it has an easy dashboard that allows me to see all the upcoming and scheduled posts for social media, and it allows me to customize it for better view or better management of a specific application.
With Hootsuite, it’s easy to plan things ahead of time and know many different aspects of my posts because of its key features. For example, I can easily have an early view of how different posts will look on our Instagram’s account feed, and decide whether to schedule it to be posted or change the design if I’m not fully content with how the posts look. Another important and very necessary feature that Hootsuite offers is the ability to recommend different times to post on different social media apps for better engagement, based on different insights that the software calculates, and it has been a very great tool that I have used when I’m not sure what time certain posts should go up.
Additionally, I like the freedom that this software gives to social media posting, it is extremely customizable and I can easily make one single post and schedule it to be posted on different social media apps at the same time without needing it to schedule one by one on the different applications, and it has become a great platform to learn about what kind of content does better on social media and what kind of content does bad, allowing me to study different trends and different aspects that our clients like to engage on. It helps me streamline all the process and know how our content is doing on an overall aspect.

Negative: I would like to have more customization over posts once they have been posted, for example, have the power to edit the caption of a post that has been put in different social media applications right from Hootsuite, because when there’s a spelling mistake or something related, I have to go to each application separately to edit it one by one, which takes more time than it would usually take if Hootsuite added this feature. I also find that when it comes to Instagram, Hootsuite doesn’t offer much tools to work with beyond posting content on the account’s feed, it would be great to have much wider tools that adjust to Instagram’s variety of engagement, such as posting stories and reels, which at the moment are not available on this software. I think it would be a great addition because stories are also an important part of Instagram’s path to a successful business account and having this tool included in Hootsuite would save so much time and effort when designing all the content for this particular social media application, and reels are also very vital for an Instagram business account, and often I have had to set reminders to post them because I can’t schedule them through Hootsuite, and this process takes more time of my schedule.

Summary: The general experience that we have obtained with Hootsuite has been positive at all times, however, within this platform the curation process of the detailed reports has to be optimized, since as I mentioned previously this uniforms all the information of the social networks and they put it together, causing us to only have a generalized report and not individually. - I love that within this platform you can receive messages, any company that has social networks, knows that the company receives messages constantly through each social network account, you can receive messages within this platform, it helps us to gather all the messages in an inbox, to serve you much faster. Previously, it was a bit complicated for us to check the inbox of each of the social networks, this platform gathers all the messages received in a single inbox so that you can view them much faster and respond to each one of them.

Negative: During our experience with Hootsuite we managed to obtain an excellent social media management skill, little by little we noticed the benefits we were getting because our social networks are becoming more active, however, we also noticed some negative things such as:

The traffic obtained in the publications of a specific social network can be verified from the platform in real time, all these details, the traffic generated and the comments or likes obtained can be verified from the platform, however when generating a detailed report , all the information from social networks is put together to generate a report, where you cannot see the information individually.

- The prices offered by the platform for each of its plans are quite high, within our company we have chosen to buy an annual plan, so we have obtained a discount for it, however I have noticed that the prices are quite high for some companies , this software cannot be used by small or medium-sized companies, only by large companies that can afford the high costs. It would be excellent if within this platform it was like the rates of the plans, lowering the prices a little or creating a much cheaper plan so that small companies can have access to these features.

Negative: The courses offered which get you acquainted with the platform are daunting to begin with. Additional features can also become expensive based on your needs; however, there are affordable options based on where you are at in your business growth.

Summary: We have been able to keep our entire audience active through the Hootsuite dashboard by informing all of our customers about new services we will be providing this year. We have been able to easily perform tasks without having to think too much, while being able to publish analytics and reports almost immediately using the scheduled publishing tool, although it can be buggy at times. It has all the necessary features to be able to interact and keep our marketing rhythm in line.

Positive: We have been able to provide excellent and quick learning of Hootsuite to our new recruits through the very clean and dedicated interface it shows us, getting everything done in a very short time. It has also given us better alternatives when it comes to understanding some analytical charts, which we were unable to do with our previous provider. It is possible to schedule a whole month of publications in the schedule that best suits us, which has allowed us to save a lot of time to dedicate to improve our entire server. We recommend using Hootsuite for its perfection in graphic studies and the way it can be programmed in a very advanced way, this has made our work much easier and has given us a lot of free time. Negative: One of the big points against is that when we try to upload several images to a single promotion post we have to do it manually and we can't turn to Hootsuite as no integration allows us to attach several images to a single post. We have been moving to Instagram and sometimes there are many errors that Hootsuite throws at us in this social network, they should release an update and improve the synchronization.
