Summary: There are good features about this platform, it used to be good for splinter lands too but the bad just outweighs the good. There is no freedom of speech at all, and a small circle of whales or just one can just take anyone they want to 0 and take away all earnings. It is probably the most centralised of them all. It is also just full of constant arguing between creators and witnesses.

Positive: - Has a lot of development/ front ends etc
- Good price point
- Hive engine
- Splinterlands links

Negative: - Full censorship, the way the platform runs there is absolutely no decentralisation a handful of whales control everything and can take posts to 0 and basically eradicate you from the platform just because they don't like you or an opinion
- Constant fighting
- Ability for anyone richer than you to take away all your earnings, just one rich whale who doesn't like you and you will effectively earn 0
- Not much of a community, some smaller communities have a decent community but overall a lot of just 'thats nice' comments.

Summary: I used to use it very often, unfortunately my account was destroyed by downvoting. I do not recommend it unless you are a conformist or you publish content without commenting on topics in which you can approach someone.

Positive: Sometimes, however, you can only gain something if you are a mainstream writer or have whale arrangements. At least until you hit it, skip a lot of Hive Power.

Negative: Downvotes are main source of corruption here. By them strong accounts can remove any rewards you have gained from hundreds of users just because they didn't like you.

Summary: Hive is a good place to post your original music and other work but for the past 2 years Hive has been run by about 10 people who seem to take great pleasure in downvoting and taking away all your earnings. It’s too bad that it has gone this way. Hive had a lot of Potential.

Positive: You can sometimes earn a little crypto from your Introduction post.
There used to be some really good musicians and artists on Hive but many of them have stopped posting.
There are a few bloggers who earn a lot if crypto from their Travel photography.

Negative: If you earn more than $5 you get downvoted for earning too much.
If you ask someone why they downvoted your post a bunch of bullies come and downvote all your posts and take all your earnings.
They never tell you why they downvoted your posts so it’s very discouraging to new bloggers.

Summary: It was ok, but it got really really bad, watching friends and then eventually myself get abused relentlessly by the people in the most powerful positions, harassed with racist comments and having all my posts down voted to zero for months....by the top witnesses and leaders on the platform! Outrageous. I was just a simple travel blogger, totally non-confrontational. I suspect I was too successful there and they did not like it.

Positive: It functions and there are good people there. I made some good friends, but also there were some bad characters that caused drama and went wild with the down-vote button.

Negative: It's becoming very well known that there is a highly organized power structure on hive who have installed and use the down-vote button to abuse, control, and manipulate for their own personal reasons. It's a total disgrace.
