Gunbot separates trade execution from the workspace used to manage it. The trading core runs on your Windows, macOS or Linux computer, VPS or server. The hosted workspace provides remote access and multi-bot management. A self-hosted interface is also available. Exchange API secrets remain with your user-run core.

Backtest spot, futures and custom JavaScript strategies, connect TradingView signals to automated actions, and configure position sizing, capital allocation and execution controls. The included toolkit also covers DeFi trading and bitRage arbitrage, which runs as a separate local executable.

    Summary: One of the standout tools for automating trading on various platforms

    Nowadays supports trading crypto, ETFs and stocks

    Positive: - self hosted
    - nice charting
    - good built-in trading strategies, much more powerful than in simpler tools
    - multi-instance options, to spread risk over multiple servers
    - option to run custom strategy code

    Negative: - needed some time to understand some of the strategy options
    - charts have limited historical candles (software prioritizes trading over charting)
    - up front price seems high, but do the math
    - arm builds appear less frequents than for Linux, Windows, macOS
