Quick note taking tool. Date: May 11 2023
Summary: A key benefit of Google Keep is its ability to create lists, checklists, labels, and colors to organize my notes. This allows me to categorize my tasks and notes based on priority, location, or other relevant factors. For example, I can use labels to differentiate between different properties, and colors to indicate the urgency of a particular task.
Google Keep has also been useful for setting reminders based on time or location. This is particularly useful when I have important deadlines or meetings to attend, as I can set a reminder to make sure I don't forget these important tasks. Also, I can collaborate with colleagues or clients by sharing my notes and allowing them to edit or comment on them. This has been helpful in coordinating tasks and ensuring everyone is on the same page.
I've also found Google Keep useful is when I need to keep track of multiple properties and tasks simultaneously. With Google Keep, I am able to create notes and checklists for each property, outlining the tasks that need to be completed and their associated deadlines. I can also use tags to group tasks by property or client, making it easy to track progress and make sure nothing gets lost.Positive: The most notable positive feature of Google Keep is its ease of use and streamlined design. With its easy-to-use interface, you can effortlessly capture your ideas, thoughts, and reminders in various formats such as text, voice, images, or drawings. This means you can capture your ideas as they occur to you, whether you're on the go or at your desk.
In addition to its ease of use, this platform has a host of organizational features that allow you to keep your notes in order. With Google Keep, you can create lists, checklists, labels, and colors to categorize your notes, making it easy to find the information you need quickly. The platform also allows you to access your notes from any device, thanks to its synchronization with your Google account, which means that you can start working on your notes on your phone and finish them on your computer.
Google Keep's advanced features also make it a great productivity tool. The platform allows you to set reminders based on time or location, so you never forget important tasks or events. For example, you can set a reminder to pick up groceries on your way home from work, and Google Keep will send you a notification at the designated time or place.
Google Keep is its collaboration feature, which allows you to share your notes with others and invite them to edit or comment on them. This makes it easy to collaborate on projects or share information with colleagues or family.
Plus, Google Keep is free with no ads or in-app purchases. It also offers unlimited storage space for your notes, as long as you don't exceed the 15 GB limit of your Google Drive account. This means you can store as much information as you need without worrying about running out of space. Also, Google Keep is part of the Google suite, which means you don't need any additional software or subscription to use it.Negative: The main disadvantage of Google Keep is its basic nature and limited features. With a limit of 20,000 characters per note, a tag limit of 50, and no support for text formatting or hierarchical structure, Google Keep may not be suitable for users who require a more sophisticated note-taking application. If you need to make notes or complex documents, Google Keep may be insufficient and lacking in functionality.

Another problem with Google Keep is its search and sort capabilities. Unlike other note-taking apps, Google Keep doesn't have an in-app search bar, so you have to use your device's or browser's global search feature to find your notes. Also, you don't have a way to sort your notes by date, title, tag, or color, which can make it difficult to locate specific information quickly. You have to manually organize your notes or use filters to find what you need, which can be time consuming and inefficient.
Google Keep also has some security and privacy issues that users should be aware of. Since you are connected to your Google account, your notes can be accessed by third parties or used by Google for advertising purposes. This means that if you store sensitive information in the app, such as passwords or financial data, it may not be secure. Also, Google Keep doesn't have a desktop client or offline mode, so you need an internet connection to access your notes. This can be inconvenient if you need to access your notes in an area without an internet connection. -

Notes can be taken quickly with this platform. Date: Apr 04 2023
Summary: Google Keep is a great note-taking app if you use it the way Google intended. This free app quickly captures ideas through mobile apps, a web app, and a web clipper. Google assumes, however, that when you're ready to work with those thoughts, you'll move the notes to a more capable app, like Google Docs. If you're more inclined to develop your notes in the note-taking app, Keep isn't designed to serve you. It doesn't have rich text formatting or any real tools for organizing notes aside from tags. There are no folders or notebooks either.
Google Keep has some useful features that might make it worth using, as long as you have clear expectations about what this app does and doesn't do. We're pleased to see that Google has made usability improvements since our last review. For example, you can now add drawings and voice notes to your notes, which can be useful for capturing visual or auditory information. You can also extract text from images using Optical Character Recognition (OCR), which can be useful for scanning documents or receipts. Also, you can set reminders for your notes based on time or location, which can be convenient for reminding you of tasks or events.
However, if you're looking for a more sophisticated note-taking app that can handle formatting, organization, annotation, encryption, or complex integration with other apps, you might want to look elsewhere. There are many alternatives to Google Keep that offer more features and flexibility for different needs and preferences. Some of the most popular are Microsoft OneNote, Evernote, Notion, and Joplin. You can read our comparisons of these apps to find out which one is best for you.
Overall, I'd recommend Google Keep to anyone who needs a quick and simple way to capture notes and sync them across devices. It is especially useful for Google users who want to integrate their notes with other Google services. However, I would not recommend it to anyone who needs more advanced features or customization options for note taking. In that case, I would suggest exploring other note-taking apps that may offer more functionality and versatility.Positive: Google Keep has a simple and intuitive user interface, making it easy to quickly take notes and create to-do lists.
It is available on the web, as well as Android and iOS mobile devices, making it accessible from anywhere.
It also integrates with other Google services, like Google Calendar, making it easy to keep track of tasks and appointments.
It allows users to add images, voice memos, drawings, and tags to their notes, making them more expressive and organized.
It has a powerful search feature that can find notes by keywords, tags, colors, or even text on images.
Supports collaboration and sharing of notes with other users via email or a link.
It syncs across all devices automatically and you store notes securely in the cloud.Negative: Google Keep only allows users to categorize notes using tags and archive completed items, so some users may find it difficult to keep their information organized.

It doesn't support rich text formatting or Markdown syntax, so users can't customize the appearance of their notes or add links, tables, or other elements.
It doesn't have desktop apps for Windows or Mac, so users have to rely on the web app or browser extensions to access their notes on a computer.
It has a weak web clipper that can only save the title and URL of a web page, not the full content or selected text.
It has no access restrictions or encryption options for shared notes, so users need to be careful who they share their notes with and what they write on them. -

Practical to take notes quickly and create lists. Date: Jan 13 2023
Summary: I use this platform for a practical solution when I want to make annotations, you can also integrate it with a videoconferencing platform to make it easier to import notes from another platform. It is very easy to be able to share notes with others and also make a backup copy since it is based on the Google cloud, therefore there would be no problem if a note is created or edited when there is no connection since when you connect to the Internet you are en will automatically sync and have your notes across all your devices and in your Gmail account.
For me, this platform is very practical since it is very easy to use, but it also has several functions that typical note-taking applications, I can also place the notes that I have created on the main screen of my smartphone so that I can facilitate the reading of certain important notes as well as the list that I created to be able to bookmark you more easily without going directly to this application.
It also has a mini backup of this application since if you delete a note it is not permanently deleted since it will remain in the trash and it will have a certain time for it to be automatically deleted so if you delete a note by accident or list it will be easy to recover it and it will be on your home screen as if nothing happened.
Google Keep is very effective as a quick note taker for any user since it does not require as much knowledge as it would be another platform Such as Evernote, which are more complicated platforms to handle for a common user. However, this platform is a good solution and alternatives to complicated note-taking applications, also do not forget that it has multiple ways to take a note.Positive: One of the main reasons why I use this Notes manager is the ease of being able to read the notes and to be able to order them in my own way. It is very practical as Google Keep keeps the notes in order and in a very pleasant way for the user and making it easier to find the desired note. In addition, it is not very difficult to start creating notes OR lists from this application since you only have to click on a box to start writing the notes or list, you can also make notes by hand, this would be very useful if you want take notes on a tablet.
It has a labeling function in order to be able to locate the notes more easily depending on which label has been answered. You can also find all the notes in a general way on the main screen of the application. So it is very practical to be able to manage the notes within this application and also to be able to assign labels for their practical location and grouping.
Since it is from Google, it is easy to synchronize notes with the calendar and even more so the pending tasks in order to have control and management of the activities to be done. In addition, this note can be sent to another user who uses Google in order to assign tasks with the lists in a quick, easy and simple way.
The notes are very personalized, you can choose various colors, you can embed audio, images, in addition to making manual annotations and being able to integrate voice dictation and added to this the recorded audio. So there are many practical ways that you can store a note within Google Keep.
You can create reminders for each note or each list so when you want to remember to make a specific list that has been created it will be very easy for this platform to notify you when it is the day to complete a list or to read the note that has been left. This being practical within my company since there are many tasks that I have to perform daily or weekly and thanks to this platform I have been able to remember practically everything I have to do within my company.Negative: There should be a function which allows you to split the notes between pinned notes and recent notes, this would be very handy because if I have pinned notes and there are a lot of notes there would be a problem with the new notes not being clear as I would have to download to be able to get to the new notes that are clear to us and this is not practical at the end of the day. Well, this would be solved very well if there was a section at the top somewhere where you can have easy access or shortcut to pinned notes and recent notes.

It should ask every time a change is going to be reviewed or have an option that asks every time a change is going to be made to each note or list, since it has happened to me several times that I have wanted to see a note in detail and accidentally move some list or change words inside the Notes accidentally. Although a backspace option is available, sometimes it doesn't work at all, because if I'm editing a note and accidentally deleted something, it usually takes steps further back than it should, which shouldn't happen, but I would have to do it step by step, besides the steps back are very limited so you have to be careful what you edit.
You should create your folders for the notes in order to facilitate the storage of each one, as well as if it were a notebook. Similar to this, the subtasks of each note are not very intuitive since it is very difficult to hit each annotation to be able to put it as your task and also you cannot put a task inside your task.
Voice notes are very practical within this platform since if I don't need to write I can make a note through voice and automatically convert it to text, however, the text is not so perfect as it tends to make mistakes in the process. time of writing. I think that if it will be integrated with another voice writing platform or with other keyboards, this problem could be solved, such as using the iOS keyboard with its voice dictation in order to have the notes in a more readable text. -

Google Keep helps you be able to take notes from scratch with the collaboration of colleagues. Date: Dec 14 2022
Summary: Despite the negative characteristics that Google Keep has, I still consider that it is a platform that is very worthwhile, it is very necessary that this platform improves the synchronization between devices, since I would love to be able to view all the notes and my mobile device, from my computer, in real time, without waiting for additional time. Google Keep has been a very beneficial platform for our company mainly because it has helped us to create notes from scratch and be able to store them in a safe place, in addition, we have loved the fact that we can create notes together, thanks to this function I have been able to write a note with the collaboration of my work team, in addition, the plans offered by Google Keep for the storage and creation of Notes are quite accessible, they have a relatively low price compared to other note-taking platforms. Despite the fact that the general interface of Google Keep was not the best since it did not allow me to customize it, I still consider that the interface is quite functional, it gives you immediate access to each of the sections of the platform, and at no time does it present some kind of glitch that prevents you from using the platform or writing a note from scratch, so I think it has a pretty basic design but is very beneficial.
Positive: Google Keep has been a very important platform when it comes to saving all our notes and writing them from scratch. The main feature that I like about this platform is that it is capable of storing all the notes indefinitely, this means that each of the notes that I have written and stored within this platform can be stored for many years, it is a positive factor since it allows me to store written information in a simple way, also, what I like about this platform is that it allows me to add labels to each one of the notes that I store, these tags are really useful when looking for a specific note, I can filter notes depending on the tags or the information I'm looking for, for example, I can create custom tags for social media notes, or Finance notes, and when I need to search for some finance information, I can filter the notes by that tag that I have previously placed. The second feature that I liked about this platform and I think it is the most influential feature is that this platform allows me to add collaborators to each of the notes that I am writing, this is great since I can paste and write a note in conjunction with the collaboration of my colleagues, for example, I can create a note and add two participants as collaborators, those participants will be able to modify the note in real time and I will see the modifications in real time, so this is a really useful feature for when I want to write a note together and I want the participation of my colleagues.
Negative: The main negative feature of this platform is regarding its design, the design used in the web version, the version for computers and the version for mobile devices is quite basic, and the only way to change it is by activating the dark mode within these versions, however, it is not possible to change or customize the general design of the platform to suit the user, since this platform does not have any function to be able to modify the general color of the platform or its design, nor does it have some function to modify the type of view of the stored notes. Another of the negative characteristics of this platform is that it does not have a backup system, despite the fact that this platform has a built-in trash can function that is capable of saving all the information deleted by the user, currently there is no type of of backup for the stored notes, that means that if for some reason I have deleted the trash or permanently deleted a note within the platform, you cannot recover it to a previous version. The last negative thing about this platform is that it currently does not have an optimized synchronization between devices, therefore, the information that I have written from the version of my mobile phone, can be viewed in the version for computers and the web version after a few minutes, the changes, and the notes made on my mobile device take some time to be reflected in the web version and the version for computers, it is not in real time.

A fairly easy mechanism to use to take notes from anywhere in the world. Date: May 13 2022
Summary: I had already used this software long before starting to work in the company that I am currently working for, Google, which has been part of my daily life for approximately more than five years, however, the time that I have been using it in my company goes from one to two years. Everyone in our company uses this platform as the main measure to take notes on anything that happens in our company. We began to notice the results from the first week of use, since we noticed that our notes are staying safe and had an encryption key so that no one could access it without prior authorization. Having an encryption key helps all our notes to remain safe in the cloud, and only the people we want can access them immediately. I am grateful for the great results that this platform has provided during all this time. We hope it will continue to provide these long-term benefits throughout our company, helping us take notes wherever we are, no matter what device we use.
Positive: Taking notes wherever I am is something that I have been able to do with Google Keep, I am very grateful for all the functions that this platform has provided me because I have been able to take notes of anything and save them in a place where they are totally secure and I can access them from any device. One of the main things that I liked about this platform is that it has easy access, it is not necessary to create any type of account, it is only necessary to have a Google account open on any of the devices, and by accessing this service, you will be able to make use of it without having to create a new account or register in advance. Another thing that I love about this service is that I can access each note created from another device without having to wait any time, for example, I can create a note from my cell phone and immediately I can access it from my computer as long as I have a stable internet connection, this perfect synchronization helps me to be able to transfer my notes to my computer without any complex process. Finally, I also love the way I can transfer these notes to any of my colleagues or friends, it is only necessary to enter the Google account to which I want to transfer this note and they can immediately receive it without using any third parties software.
Negative: One of the main things that can be improved in Google Keep is that the design is quite basic, currently the design is a simple white template and it is nothing more than that, it should add a much more colorful design and have many more functions so that the user feels much more comfortable. In my company, the current design of this platform has been uncomfortable for some employees, but it has also been comfortable for other employees who find the design simple and easy to use. Another thing that needs to be improved is that you can create folders to be able to organize each of the notes, currently the Google Keep service that allows you to create notes but does not allow you to organize exceptions, it would be excellent to be able to create specific folders for some notes, so we would not have a mess in the notes and we could find one of them without having to search for it for a long time. It is important to highlight that these negative characteristics have not made me stop using this great platform, I still consider that it is a very beneficial service and that it is very important for our company since we can have notes in the palm of our hand about any incident within of the company.

Excellent synchronization for viewing notes on multiple devices. Date: Apr 24 2022
Summary: My general experience with this service can be said to have been excellent. This platform has allowed us to take all kinds of notes, paste all kinds of information, attach images or videos to our notes, and much more. In addition, I am pleased to say that this platform works without an internet connection, I can be anywhere without having a network connection and in the same way I will be able to take notes without any limit, it is true that these notes are not stored without an internet connection, but when there is a minimal connection, the notes are immediately uploaded to the cloud to protect them. I love taking this amazing software with me, I can take notes just using my cell phone, plus I can see all those notes from my computer instantly, it has excellent synchronization between devices.
Positive: Google Keep is being used by a large part of our sectors in our real estate company. It is a fairly simple platform to use, its system to work on Android devices is impressive, it helps to take notes and allows all the notes to be shared directly through the Google network. The things that I liked the most about my overall Google Keep experience are the following:
1. Google Keep has a very comfortable design, it is a platform in which the only dominant color is white, which gives it more professionalism, in addition, I love being able to easily locate my notes, I can filter them by date of creation and I can also easily access the trash can of deleted notes, I do all this without any confusion, the App is very well done and its UI is perfect.
2. I love the way I can attach notes to a specific date by integrating it with our Google Calendar. Both Apps are linked and I can add notes for a specific date and my colleagues or colleagues who have access to my programming calendar will be able to see all the notes without having to share them individually.
3. Google Keep allows me to transfer these notes through the Google network very quickly, it is only enough to have the person added to our network and the transfer can be made, in addition, we can also share these notes through Gmail, both Apps are they hold hands and a note can be attached to a mail being written.Negative: I really do not have any negative point to mention about Google Keep, it is a software that since we started using it has yielded innovative results and has allowed our notes to remain safe at all times. The Google support team has been very constant in answering all our questions related to the Keep system. The platform in general has worked wonderfully, without any failure, we have not had any problem during the creation of notes and the transfer of notes has been satisfactory at all times, we simply cannot describe the great satisfaction that we have had with Google Keep, without failures.

Google Keep helps power the Note creation system together. Date: Dec 21 2022
Summary: Google Keep has been a very important platform for all real estate service companies, I consider that this form has been key to being able to create a note from scratch and to be able to create it together, we have never used a platform that did not allow editing a note before together, in addition, within the platform we can also visualize the changes in real time, we can visualize each of the changes made by the participants of the edition of a note. In addition, this platform allowed us to share notes immediately, the work team, since we have a shared folder which allows us to integrate specific participants and thus be able to insert each of the notes we want to share in that folder. with another type of work. This platform has brought a complete experience to my entire company, I consider that it has helped us a lot to create very complete notes, despite the few design and customization functions that it currently has. Google Keep has a great future, I consider that I will continue to use this platform in the long term since it has helped me a lot to create a note from scratch and store them at no cost.
Positive: Google Keep is an ideal platform to be able to carry out all kinds of note-taking in a simple way. I really liked that this platform allows you to store a large number of notes at no cost, since the general platform has no additional costs, which It allows me to store any type of notes in an unlimited way, share them with my work team or store them for many years without having to pay anything additional. I also liked that this platform allows me to insert all types of images or videos directly into any of my notes, I can insert any type of image that I have stored on my device, but you can also insert images through any direct link, as well as I can insert Videos from my device or from any direct link. I also liked that this platform that allows me to store the notes that I no longer need, is a trash can, this trash can is quite functional and beneficial for any type of user, since every time I delete a note, it is stored there for 30 days. In this way, you can easily recover any note that is deleted by mistake. This is a very beneficial and fast way to recover any type of note if the 30 days have not passed. I also liked that this thing only allows me to add participants or collaborators for each of the notes that I am preparing, these functions are very important and I want to build a note from scratch with the collaboration of the work team, since we can work online and edit the same note simultaneously.
Negative: One of the main features that I don't like about Google Keep parties is that this platform does not allow me to have extensive customization of each of the notes that I have been preparing. It is in a good way, it does not allow me to add a personalized background to each of the notes that I am preparing, which causes the general customization of each one of the notes to be very limited, in addition, another of the features that I did not like is that the Google Keep interface is not customizable either, it has a very basic interface both in its web version as well as the version for mobile devices. In addition, I also did not like that this platform has irregularities when it is integrated with the Google Calendar service, on some occasions the notes that have been linked to specific dates within Google Calendar are not displayed correctly, for which I do not recommend that it be used this integration system, since it is not as precise and is not able to show all the notes that have been linked to specific dates. Those are the only negative things I don't have about the platform, as I think it has a lot of potential and it helped me a lot to build a note from scratch. I really hope this platform improves those negative features to be much more perfect.
