Google Groups Description
Google Groups is an online service that allows users to create discussion groups based on their common interests. The Groups service provides a shared interface that allows users to access Usenet newsgroups.
Google Groups has a number of features that make it an excellent tool for communication and collaboration.
Email list: Members are able to communicate with one another using a single address. This allows everyone to stay in the loop even if they do not use Google Groups on a regular basis.
Web forum: A forum on the web allows a group to initiate conversations and respond. This is an excellent way to have structured discussions and to exchange files and images.
Q&A Forum: The Q&A Forum works the same as a web-based forum, but is specifically designed to allow questions and answers. This is a great place to get expert advice or to share your expertise with others.
Collaborative inbox - A collaborative inbox allows members to track conversations.
