    Contacts - Review

    Date: Jun 12 2020

Summary: Google contacts application is one of the first digital phonebook/Address book and it is easy to use. The design is very good and the interface is very interactive. The main problem I have to always face is with duplicates of a single contact because of multiple emails signed in on your device. Google contacts can also be accessed with web browser and retrieve your contacts in case if you lost your mobile.

On an overall level, google contacts application is very good and is a definite recommendation for everyone.

Positive: (+) Easy to use and integration with an existing Gmail account.
(+) Helps a lot in case of a lost phone or changing current phone, you can easily access with the help of your Gmail account.
(+) The sync is very good, if you enter a new contact it gets synced very fact.
(+) Very reliable and fast, can be accessed on the browser also.
(+) You can label your contacts so that you can group contacts with similar labels, you can put address also.

Negative: (-) In the case of multiple gmails accounts on the mobile device, the contacts gets duplicated, and removing the redundant contacts becomes a problem.
(-) There is no sample info of contact you will always have to go and open the full page.
(-) In the case of exporting contacts some times, the images get dropped from contacts, not too often.
(-) Collects contact of each and every person you have emailed which is not necessary.

    Great phonebook app

    Date: Sep 07 2020

Summary: Every phone has a contacts app, but Google Contacts enhances the experience by streamlining all your contacts across devices with some useful features and real time sync.

Positive: Google Contacts is a simple app to manage your contacts with the best part being that it can be used to sync your contacts across devices with just your email id. It has neat little features like merge contacts to reduce duplicate contacts and is quite easy to use. It is also absolutely free.

Negative: No cons, it is a simple but must have app especially for Android users.
