    Power and Flexible Managed File Transfer

    Summary: Overall, GoAnywhere is a pleasure to use. The expression language and available tasks allow us to do everything we need to do.

    Positive: Good price. Many connection and task configuration options. Ability to run jobs on schedules, via folder monitors, or event triggers.

    Negative: The reporting is somewhat weak. Wish you could duplicate a user (but you can create users from templates or create a new user by exporting an existing user, modifying the definition, and importing).

    Summary: Meets our basic requirement.

    Positive: Supporting to secure transfer files by multiple ways.

    Negative: In our environment, we need GoAnywhere to call SAP functions.
    Automation part is not easy to understand.

    Perfect file transfer tool for not complex jobs

    Summary: Navigations between projects, schedulers and monitors could use some improvement. In some area, I have to get back to right place in order to get the link to show then I could navigate between projects, schedulers and monitors.

    Positive: Easy to setup and easy to use. Resource are feature rich and easy. I did not receive any training and able to get going quickly.

    Negative: User interface could use some modernization.
    Does not have debugger, breakpoint function.
    Data transformation is somewhat limited and cumbersome.
    Could use more job control components. Doesn't have "else if", only has if else.
    Workspace could be by provided by default and automatically deleted.

    Easy to Use But Limited in Some Aspects

    Summary: GoAnywhere is very useful for smaller projects but is limited when it comes to bigger or more complicated projects.

    Positive: GUI.
    Scheduler.
    Flow of Logic in a Project.
    Job Logs.
    Functionality with API, Emails, SQL, etc.
    More ways to let developers know when a project has erred.

    Negative: GUI slows down significantly with bigger projects.
    Not much functionality in place for things like arrays and matrices.
    RowSets are somewhat limited in what you can do with them from a matrices point of view.

    Great Application

    Summary: The application presents a great tool and asset for users or organizations who are looking to support or change older systems that require a large amount of overhead in scripting. If nothing else is used, then its great fresh start to have as a tool in an organization to support actions needed by internal or external entities.

    Positive: Ability to design a process to work transfer of files and ability to debug while creating allows for a great follow through on finalizing the project or adding in new actions.

    Negative: For what my application use is for this not much to negate against it.
