Gets the job done with a few quirks Edited: Apr 24 2026
Summary: I used GetQR to make codes for our booth at a local craft fair. They worked perfectly and looked professional, though I had to upgrade sooner than I expected for the extra codes.
Positive: High-res downloads are genuinely impressive. The SVG files I exported scaled cleanly from a business card all the way up to a tradeshow backdrop without any loss in scannability.
Negative: The free tier feels a bit restrictive if you need more than a couple codes. I ran into the limit faster than expected and had to upgrade midway through setting up for our booth.

Useful tool once you find your way around Date: Apr 20 2026
Summary: I put together QR codes for our clinic's patient feedback forms using get QR. Once I figured out the interface it worked well, though the first few minutes felt like trial and error.
Positive: The export options are excellent: SVG, PNG, and multiple resolution choices that cover just about any print or digital scenario. Quality was sharp even on a large vinyl banner we ordered.
Negative: The dashboard layout isn't super intuitive at first glance, and it took me a few sessions to feel comfortable navigating between the editor, analytics, and code management sections.

Solid features but navigation could improve Date: Mar 19 2026
Summary: Created QR codes for three different client campaigns and the output quality was consistent across all of them. My only gripe is the dashboard navigation, which slowed me down when juggling multiple projects at once.
Positive: Basic tools are great. The dynamic codes, logo customization, scan tracking, and high-res export all work as advertised. The branded codes look great, and all the scans I used worked on the first try.
Negative: The flow from the code editor to the analytics section takes too many clicks. It would be nice if there were a way to quickly switch between the two.

Useful but the learning curve surprised me Date: Mar 13 2026
Summary: Used it to make QR codes for a client to put on their window decals. The final product looked great, but I spent more time than I'd have liked to get the hang of the initial set up. Once I got past that, everything worked out nicely.
Positive: Once I figured out the dashboard the whole process was smooth. Custom colors, logo placement, and dynamic link editing all worked as expected. The SVG export came out clean and printed beautifully on vinyl stickers.
Negative: The initial set up wasn't as intuitive as I expected. Took a few minutes of clicking around to get the hang of how to navigate the sections.

Functional but could be more polished Date: Mar 05 2026
Summary: Used getqr for generating QR codes for my client's product line, which worked perfectly, but handling so many of them at once felt slightly cramped. For small-scale projects, however, it's a very smooth experience.
Positive: The code generator for dynamic links, logo uploads, and color schemes works perfectly without any hitches. Managed to download a clean SVG on the first try, which scanned perfectly on both Android and iPhone.
Negative: The dashboard layout, however, looks a bit cramped for handling over ten codes at once. Some sort of folder organization would be greatly appreciated.

Good tool with some room left Date: Feb 25 2026
Summary: Applied it to generate codes for a client's product packaging. The level of customization was good and the export quality was excellent, although I could have asked for a little more variety in the templates.
Positive: Logo integration is seamless and the color picker is accurate to brand guidelines. Downloaded an SVG that was good to print on banners without any pixelation or loss of quality at larger sizes.
Negative: The template selection could benefit from a few more starting points for industry types. Felt a little constrained when searching for something specific.

Scan tracking actually works well Date: Feb 25 2026
Summary: Developed dynamic QR codes for a seasonal promotion and the scan analytics allowed me to determine which store locations generated the most traffic. GetQR made the entire process easy and trackable.
Positive: Analytics dashboard provides a clean display of scan counts, locations, and types. The ability to monitor engagement on a code-by-code basis gave me a true understanding of which placements were working.
Negative: Would like to see a date range filter option on the analytics view page so I don’t have to scroll through everything manually.

Decent analytics but room to grow Date: Feb 17 2026
Summary: Ran a small promo campaign and used GetQR to see which flyers worked best. The info was good even if the interface could use a lil work.
Positive: Scan tracking is really helpful, and the dashboard is great at displaying location and time information. It helped me see which posters were really getting views.
Negative: Took me a minute to locate the analytics tab – it's sorta hidden in the menu.

Good core features, navigation needs work Date: Feb 17 2026
Summary: Honest truth? I almost didn't finish the setup process because I couldn't locate the analytics tab. But once a colleague showed me where it was, it all clicked into place. Used it for a veterinary clinic's post-visit care instructions. Dynamic codes allow us to change seasonal allergy information without having to reprint pamphlets. The service is great; the path to it could use improvement.
Positive: Dynamic QR codes and analytics are a great pair, and the exports are always of high quality whether it's for digital or print use. The actual code creation is also quick and accurate.
Negative: Some important options are a pain to locate without clicking around, and the navigation could be more user-friendly for first-time users.

Readable codes on large job site boards Date: Feb 17 2026
Summary: Construction crews do not care about QR code solutions. They want to scan a board and view the latest drawing. Therefore, I implemented GetQR codes on each site for plans, RFIs, and punch lists. Dynamic links ensure that I update one place, and all boards are updated. I do not check analytics frequently, but when the PM asked if users were using the codes, I was prepared.
Positive: The high-quality PNG downloads remained scannable even on oversized boards in direct sunlight. Dynamic codes ensured that plan links were up-to-date, and the system was intuitive enough to delegate to a superintendent.
Negative: Bulk management for multiple job sites requires improvement, and it took too long to find the duplication feature.

Decent tool once you figure it out Date: Feb 13 2026
Summary: The initial fifteen minutes were a bit frustrating since settings are not always as expected. However, after getting used to authoring for a museum audio guide project, everything just worked. Dynamic codes allowed for repairing a faulty link after opening day without reprinting signage. Analytical tools helped track which exhibits were most scanned. Would use again, just might add a little patience to the equation.
Positive: The essential features are good: dynamic QR codes, reasonable analytics, and good quality downloads. After setting up, reusing styles on codes can save time efficiently.
Negative: It would have been nice to have a smoother onboarding experience. I had to spend more time than I thought to familiarize myself with some differences between export options and where certain settings are.

Works well for basic real estate needs Date: Feb 04 2026
Summary: For sale signs now contain codes that connect to 3D tours, neighborhood information, and mortgage calculators. GetQR made it simple for me to do this. Buyers can scan signs from the street and view everything without having to call for more information. The dynamic codes allow me to change open house hours or prices without needing to replace yard signs. The quality is not bad, although the interface was a bit of a learning curve. Analysis showed that properties with codes received 40% more views, which alone made the subscription fee worth it from the start. However, some organizational tools could use improvement.
Positive: Developing codes that connect to virtual tours and property information was easy. Clients can read signs or flyers and instantly view complete listings, which was a huge improvement for me in terms of how I showcase properties without requiring complex tech support.
Negative: The dashboard becomes a bit messy when dealing with listings from multiple properties and neighborhoods. Improved filtering or search capabilities would be beneficial for real estate agents who deal with a large number of listings.

Works for basic tracking needs with room to grow Date: Feb 04 2026
Summary: I personally use getQR for engagement tracking for my consulting clients. The basic functionality is great, and clients love seeing scan information in reports. Dynamic QR codes have saved us from reprint costs several times. The interface is clean and functional. I would rate it higher if it had some more advanced features for complex campaigns, but for standard use, it's totally solid.
Positive: Dynamic QR codes enable link updates even after printing, which is a big plus for ongoing projects. Analytics are a must for any project, and the data provided is very useful, including scan numbers and basic location information. Customization includes all standard branding requirements, including colors and simple logos.
Negative: While feature depth is good, there is definitely room for improvement – more advanced analytics and design template types would be a big plus for power users.

Good for nonprofit campaigns but learning curve exists Date: Jan 29 2026
Summary: We used GetQR codes on flyers for our fundraising campaign. The ability to update the donation page link as we secured matching sponsors was critical. The analytics told us which neighborhoods were most engaged, which helped us with outreach. Quality is professional, and codes scan well. Wish I'd explored tutorials more at the beginning – would have avoided some trial and error.
Positive: Analytics offer us great information on community engagement with our campaigns. Dynamic QR codes are a must for updating donation links and event details without having to reprint. Customization allows us to align with organizational branding guidelines.
Negative: There are a lot of features in Interface, which is awesome, but it took me a while to learn the best practices for our particular use case.

Useful but took some getting used to Date: Jan 19 2026
Summary: I am a freelance consultant, and for one of my clients, I had to work on some QR codes for product packaging. GetQR provided updates to product information links without label reprints. The quality was solid, and the codes reliably scan.
Positive: The functionality of Dynamic QR is very powerful; I can change URLs post-print, which is key to long-term materials. Analytics give a good baseline data for tracking of engagement. Brand customization via colors/logos makes codes look professional for client deliverables.
Negative: Feature set is pretty comprehensive but the learning curve was steeper than expected – spent about an hour figuring out all the options before I felt comfortable.
