Summary: I have stayed with GainSeeker for over 20 years. Basic functionality has remained the same with great feature updates. And Hertzler's staff has always been very helpful and provides support when needed.

Positive: I currently use GainSeeker for Warranty data analysis. The Pareto chart function is perfect for this application.
It is intuitive and works like Quality Professionals think. I also use a custom reporting feature to graph product times to failure. The reports are high quality and are used through our company.

Negative: Pareto chart colors change as data is drilled down. The changes are somewhat random. I like to keep the colors consistent with data that is being shown. It is easy to change the colors, but, an additional step nonetheless.

Summary: It has been a great transition. The end users transitioned very well from our old product. Data analytics is made simple. Dashboards are easy to create and their service is off the charts.

Positive: The Wizard features are amazing. They do the heavy lifting of data analysis for you, but automatically analyzing your data and finding areas of variation in your system.

The product is also very customizable making it match your workflow and simple for the end users.

Negative: There isn't really anything I dislike so far with the product.

Summary: This software has helped us go from just using SPC charts to control our manufacturing operations to collecting data from multiple sources (machines, cmms, manual inputs) and allowed us to create tools that can do custom things that benefits our company's bottom line.

Positive: The customizability of the software allows us to create and develop solutions to problems we have had handling and collecting data from our shop floor. It is a very flexible piece of software.

Negative: The standard, out of the box visuals are still a bit lacking.

Summary: Very pleased with the software for the price and based off of experiences thus far. Operators can easily use the interface without questions or delays.

Positive: - Intuitive user interface (especially for operators).
- Bug-free day-to-day operation.
- Highly customizable.

Negative: -Requires programming knowledge or support to customize.

Summary: Excellent product to gathering data, reports, charts and great dashboard use. Great to have a variety of reports and charts available.

Positive: Easy to deploy. Easy to navigate. Friendly to the eyes for Technicians to use. Quick to view a report. Strong analysis capabilities.

Negative: If you are not familiar with Python you will have some challenges.

Summary: It's been a fantastic partnership with Hertzler. The product suite has saved hundreds of thousands of dollars in efficiency gains. It has enabled data driven decisions that have paid off on the bottom line. The support is second to none. They have been a partner in the truest sense of the word. As we continue to move forward rolling out Gainseeker into different business segments, it has become part of "Our Way" of doing business.

Positive: There are so many. It is able to conform to your specific needs whether it's operations, sales, other locations, variable or discrete data. It offers immense power to the user to do complex statistical analysis quickly. It has incredible data capturing capabilities whether it be manual or automated data capture. It's statistical tools are very easy to make visual when analyzing process stability, variability, correlation, causation, or DOE. The support team is excellent and very responsive. From a reliability standpoint, I cannot think of a time where our organization lost the ability to capture and analyze data due to an issue with the Gainseeker suite.

Negative: Not a con, but a challenge. You need to have a "Data Head" that can help get users familiar with the analysis portion of SPC and DMS. It helps to have someone who is also familiar with python script or can pick it up with relative ease.

Summary: Software was very powerful and customer support was excellent. We were able to create a simple data entry feature for the operators and data analysis power and intuitive user interface was great. We could basically tell analysts just remember to right click for most any function you would need during analysis.

Positive: Software was very powerful and highly customizable out of the box. We were able to create a very easy to use operator data entry session that walked them through the data collection process.

The system is also much better than all other software we had trialed for data analysis and review...very easy to use with powerful analysis and quick and easy drill down analysis capability.

Negative: The only real con is that there is not currently and SaaS option with cloud based hosted solution.
