Fotoxx Description

Fotoxx is an open-source Linux program that allows you to edit and manage images. It is designed to meet the needs and speed of serious photographers, while also being easy to use. You can navigate a large collection of images using a thumbnail browser. Click on an image to view it or edit it. There are many retouch and edit functions available. You can import RAW files and apply deep color editing. Rejected images can be saved as JPEG, TIFF (8/16), or PNG (8/16). Select an area or object within an image (freehand drawing, following edges, flood matching colors), apply edit functions and copy and paste. Without using layers. The full image can be edited quickly using the edit functions. Edit metadata of images (tags, geotags and ratings, captions, dates, ratings and captions). Search images with any combination of metadata, file and folder names, or partial names. To view all photos taken at that location, click on a marker on a scalable map.
