It's important to note that TotalFinder is an add-on that integrates with Finder upon launching TotalFinder.app, without altering any Finder files stored on the disk. This application is installed independently but modifies the active Finder instance in memory, a process I refer to as TotalFinder's injection into Finder. Given the way TotalFinder functions, there is a slight chance it may encounter issues with future Finder updates. Our dedicated team relies on TotalFinder daily, allowing us to quickly identify and address any problems that may arise. Historically, updates to Finder have resulted in only minor modifications.
