Cinema Grade
Discovering the top color grading software can elevate your films to a cinematic standard. The era when color grading was a specialized skill reserved for elite professionals using high-tech equipment is now behind us. Today, it's essential for every video editor and independent filmmaker to produce a polished color grade, even when working on an older, worn laptop. Regardless of your proficiency with lighting and camera work, some shots will inevitably suffer from exposure discrepancies and inconsistency, especially when fluctuating clouds alter the light in your frame. Furthermore, a misstep like incorrect white balance can complicate your footage. As a result, color correction becomes necessary to address exposure and matching challenges. Cinema Grade serves as a valuable color grading plugin compatible with three major editing platforms: Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve, making it accessible for filmmakers at every level. With the right tools, achieving a stunning visual narrative has never been more attainable.

Protake
Protake transforms the filmmaking capabilities of professional cinema cameras for mobile platforms, catering to a diverse range of users from everyday vloggers to seasoned directors. Regardless of your experience level, you will find that Protake's extensive features enhance your production quality. The application offers a variety of cinematic aesthetics, organized into categories such as Neutral Styles, Film Emulation (featuring classic Kodak and Fuji films), Movie Inspired looks from both blockbuster and indie cinema, and ALEXA Looks. Since mobile devices lack the inherent design of professional cinema cameras, it becomes crucial to detect dropped frames instantly. Moreover, these devices often struggle with maintaining a consistent frame rate, resulting in potential issues with non-standard variable frame rates. Protake addresses this challenge by ensuring a strict constant frame rate of 24, 25, 30, 60, or 120 FPS. Additionally, every detail, from device model and ISO settings to shutter angle, white balance, lens used, connected accessories, and filming location, is meticulously logged in the file's metadata to provide filmmakers with comprehensive insights. This attention to detail not only enhances the filmmaking process but also allows creators to achieve a level of professionalism previously reserved for high-end equipment.
