Fastkey Description

Fastkey offers an Enhanced Canadian Criminal Record Check. Also known as a Judicial Matters Check (JMC) in Ontario, this check includes the Basic Canadian Criminal Record Check but also extends to include additional searches on the CPIC Investigative Data Bank or the Police Information Portal. The results are based on the candidate's date of birth and name. This check confirms that the CPIC database contains accurate criminal convictions, but also verifies the existence of any recordable information. This information includes summary convictions as well as outstanding warrants, pending charges, indictable crimes, peace bonds and any probation or prohibition orders. The search includes both the CPIC Investigatory Data Bank and PIP. This allows for a thorough review of the candidate's criminal record.
