Summary: The big difference between FactSet & the Bloomberg Terminal is the markets served. FactSet serves both public and private markets, while Bloomberg primarily focuses on public markets.
There is also quite a pricing difference with the terminal being 2x as expensive.Positive: Comprehensive research platform for public and private markets data and research, similar to Capital IQ and the Bloomberg terminal, with capabilities and functionality.
Negative: Not a lot of disadvantages with FactSet, like most platforms with financial data, can be fairly pricey.
