Negative: Expensify is a software that works pretty well for my business but there are still some features that I would like to see improvement on. For example, even though the scanning tool works amazingly, it doesn't organize the receipts well and we do have to organize and sort them into different categories once they're all scanned, and the same thing happens with the credit card import feature. Additionally, one of the things I don't like about Expensify is that it will sometimes duplicate some of the receipts accidentally and we have to go through them to make sure nothing is duplicated, this has only happened a couple times but it's still something that they can fix to make sure it doesn't happen again. Of course, I feel like with all the automation that it provides, some errors are bound to happen, and the pros are very beneficial to me and my business.

Summary: This is definitely an affordable tool that has been helpful in managing employee expenses and reimbursements.

Positive: We use Expensify for our corporate credit card. I like that it's very easy to issue cards to employees and that the approval and review process is built into the system. I also like that as additional functionality you can process employee reimbursements directly through the platform for expenses paid in cash or on personal credit cards. Receipts are easy to upload through the app or email and automatically get matched to the charge.

Negative: At times it can be a bit difficult to navigate and not very intuitive. And sometimes it hard to tell where a report is in the approval process. But they have in app support that is very responsive and helpful.

Summary: I think that Expensify has helped us manage everything better, we have more organization and more financial management, we are able to plan everything better and budget all our recipes and projects in the right way so our money is spent better, it has helped us track all different expenses and know where our money is going, and calculate the price range for new products coming out, it has helped me customize all projects based on the budget given and create something wonderful. It has also helped create a place where we can manage all the taxes and create invoices for different clients, helping us run our business easier and have an organization around all our financial procedures, it is way easier to have a place where we know that we have all our financial data tracked and we can always trace it back to where it came from, it is nice and easy to keep track of every expense and every money that comes in and out of the business.

Positive: Expensify is very easy to use and implement into the daily routine, it is a software that is packed with many tools that enhance the expense tracking process and make it easier for those that do not want to spend the entire day counting all the receipts and payments made, it is a tool that is made to automatically organize these type of things and it does a wonderful job at being very user-friendly and providing the right tools for creating a nice organization around all the expenses that are being tracked every day on the software, having a simple platform is Expensify’s key to being a software that is easy to manage.
The option to scan receipts is very useful, usually, we use this feature to save time and not have to import everything manually, with just scanning it will be pretty easy for Expensify to submit the information to the database and I like how much time it saves me, it is a tool that I find myself constantly using whenever I am outside and not in the office, and it works really well. Expensify allows us to do the management of budgets really well and it allows us to send invoices for the products that we sell, it is very easy to send these to our clients and receive payment immediately. Additionally, I like that Expensify provides a well built option to generate reports and schedule said reports to be created during a specific amount of time, this is unique and important as we sometimes tend to focus on other stuff and forget about this essential part of our product planning, and Expensify automates it for us without any trouble.
It provides a platform to build our budgets and manage our taxes. This is incredibly important because it has a lot of tools that help plan every aspect of our project and know how to manage our money to make sure that everything is financially covered after taxes. It is a convenient platform to manage everything for tax season and make sure that everything is correct and we are not missing any important information for our business regarding our taxes, it generates multiple tax rates depending on the options that you choose and it can create invoices with tax included automatically calculated by the application, which is something great as we do not have to calculate it ourselves.

Negative: There are some minor bugs while using the software, they are very small but still manage to present inconveniences at times when we need it the most, I have experienced expenses not actually being submitted when I did, and I have had to resubmit them in order for it to work, it is something that does not happen too often but when it does, it feels really annoying because I have to do double the work and it is not something that feels practical with Expensify; I have also experienced bugs while using the scanner, some words it will not scan properly, maybe because the technology is not very updated to catch text properly, but I have had to edit the receipts scanned so they fit what the actual receipt says and correct any grammar issues so that at the moment of organizing everything for tax season we won’t have any issues with tracing back old receipts. I think that Expensify is a great software, however, it still needs a lot of improvement to remove regular bugs that happen on the application and improve the overall functionality of it, it still needs a lot of work to be a fully prepared software that handles expenses very well without any difficulties, and I am sure that it will be achieved in the future because improvements are being added constantly and the application updates frequently.

Summary: This software is just ok. It does the job, but isn't spectacular and it isn't terrible. It is a sufficient expense tracking option.

Positive: It is fairly user friendly and does what it should most of the time. Integration into Quickbooks is nice.

Negative: It seems Expensify has a lot of issues, whether it be with integration or with the credit card syncing. The CEO also oversteps and sends emails telling you how to vote.

Summary: Been using Expensify for a few years and it does the job.

Make sure that you do get the bank feeds to make life easier, and use the app to email your invoices.

There are no issues with the software, support is good and if you need something to manage credit card expenses, it will do the job OK.

Positive: The best thing you can do with Expensify is setup automatic bank feeds. That saves a lot of time and effort when doing your credit card expenses.
