Summary: Overall the software does exactly what it says it will do and does it well. It is also easy to use. My only really dislike is the pricing. Offering special pricing to nonprofits would be a way to target a specific market.

Positive: What I like most about this is the ease of use. Folder structure is great and, for the most part, intuitive for users. Setup is also easy. And the UI is easy to navigate.

Negative: The ability to share out seems a bit clunky at times and all the features don't always seem to work as expected. The other con I would identify is that the cost is a bit high, particularly for a nonprofit.

Summary: My overall experience with this software has been great. It was a huge upgrade over our last FTP solution.

Positive: I love how simple the software was to setup and start using right away. The system is also a very robust program compared to other Cloud FTP solutions. The API and Webhooks are a huge addition.

Negative: The price increase that happened in 2021. I have no complaints other than cost with this software.

Summary: Great! I think this is a nice tool at a nice price point. It was recommended to me by a colleague. I do enjoy using this tool.

Positive: User friendly; good UX/UI; good customer support; i like the onboarding tools - I don't have to do much beyond entering the credentials of my users.

Negative: Took me a little while to understand all the features.

Summary: Great product and does exactly what we need for a really fair price! They're not like the competitors. They don't do silly "for additional cost" add-ons that ought to be in the standard version. As a result, we've got exactly what we need, and we don't feel there is anything we're missing that really ought to come as standard.

Positive: Clear product offering and service! Easy to use, versatile and flexible. We have dozens of users running and using ExaVault. We're based in the EU and trust ExaVault.

Negative: The UI is nice, but is occasionally a bit clunky. It's no big deal however as the majority of our users use the service via an SFTP client.

Summary: Overall ExaVault has provided us with an excellent alternative to our previous solution which was based on one of the large public cloud providers, it was costing us five times more than the solution from ExaVault and with less features. Configuring ExaVault is also extremely easy compared to other solutions we tested.

Positive: Being cloud based it was quick and simple to get up and running, providing us with immediate access to FTP/SFTP/HTTP storage. The user interface is a clean web-based GUI that makes it easy to add multiple users, configure them for SSH and set their home directory.

Negative: The only thing that I would say is sometimes we have been unable to upload files in the middle of the night, we are assuming that this is due to maintenance but it would be nice to have an e-mail to let us know if this is planned so we can put in our log system.

Summary: If you're looking for an easy to use product with great reliability, I would highly recommend ExaVault Cloud FTP!

Positive: Easy to setup with a great GUI. We have scheduled FTP jobs running every hour and the uptime is amazing. We have hardly had any service alarms at all during 2 years of use.

Negative: I have nothing negative to remark. The service has been working flawlessly since day one.

Summary: Overall, it beats out the traditional FTP solutions by an arm and a leg. It may be losing ground to some of the AWS options, but for a cloud based FTP, it's by far better than hosting a server and trying to manage/maintain your own in the current climate of security, cost, access, etc.

Positive: Flexible, adaptable, easy to scale. The flexibility to use either web interface or a traditional FTP clients gives a lot of ease to either simple users who need to interact with it as well as more technical users who prefer FTP applications.

Negative: Some of the reporting is lacking. Especially for elements that retain to billing, such as transactional usage. However, it can still be requested and received from them, but is missing a few minor details.

Summary: Good overall solution, solid customization, fast, fairly cheap in price. Much better than Couchdrop or Files.com.

Positive: Custom Domain setup. Great web UI for the sftp. Ridiculously fast set up. Fast service responses.

Negative: Upload speeds could be improved (pro-tip, upload from Oregon points/ locations if possible). Their shared folders in the UI are good, but they need to implement them in the standard SFTP protocol connections as well.

Summary: We are so happy with the services they provide and look forward to continue using them. We were pleased to find this secure solution.

Positive: Before we found ExaVault, we did not know cloud FTP/SFTP services existed. This cost effective solution has solved so many problems were were having surrounding FTP and SFTP. On top of all that, they also function similarly to Dropbox or OneDrive and it allows us to share large files with customers and vendors that are too large to send as attachments.

Negative: We honestly cannot think of any negatives with this product.

Summary: We're happy with the change to ExaVault. Our previous service got too complicated and expensive, so we're happy that we found ExaVault!

Positive: Reliable, solid service. Easy to use. ExaVault offers a simpler approach to small business online storage/file transfer which is secure and easy for our clients/employees to use and interact with.

Negative: SO far, we are completely happy with the service, so there are no cons.

Summary: ExaVault has been a great solution for us and will continue to use them for many more years I'm sure. No problems and they are always available to help when needed.

Positive: Very simple to setup and easy to manage. Lot's of features and options that let us do everything we need an SFTP site to do. I've contacted sales and support a few times over the years and they respond very quickly and always have the help we've needed.

Negative: No cons at all. We have used ExaVault for a few years now and love it. It's been easy to setup and use.

Summary: We use this to receive reports to and it is available to us globally and was very simple and easy to setup.

Positive: Excellent service and support, easy to use product for FTP.

Negative: None at this time, overall, we haven't had any issues with the Exavault team.

Summary: We're very happy with everything we've accomplished with ExaVault. It's the perfect solution for an SMB in the search of a stable and reliable file server.

Positive: The web interface rocks. I was able to set up our environment without checking any tutorial or contacting support. By using a proprietary domain name on top of it, allowed us to mask its implementation for branding purposes.

Negative: Most SFTP servers allow configuration of alternative ports like 2022. ExaVault doesn't, which isn't a dealbreaker. It would just be something nice to have in case the ISP is a bit restrictive.

Summary: I'm a fan and plan to continue using the service at the end of our initial annual plan. This file sharing service meets our needs and the cost cannot currently be beat.

Positive: The value of the service is excellent. The combination of costs that are lower than the competition with the ease of use presents an excellent value proposition.

Negative: I'd like to see more granular user permissions for folders.

Summary: Great software. Price is affordable. Tech Support is the best I have encountered. If you are considering automating File transfers or need secure solutions use Exavault.

Positive: East to use with a nice GUI. Easy to get grant access to folders. Integrates with popular FTP schedulers and software. Deployment can be completed in under an hour. Loads of APIs for Automation and webhooks.

Negative: I wish the FTP setup was integrated into the product.
