Quality Product Backed by Quality Service

    Date: Sep 14 2022

Summary: If you are willing to put in a little effort and ask questions as needed, you will have a phenomenal site. Their customer service is unparalleled and why I will be a lifelong customer.

Positive: If you know what you are doing, you can use EverWeb to create superior websites, with so many built ins that other "quick build" options to not provide. They are constantly adding features which creates more value. They provide many step by step videos and have a good knowledge base to go to for most questions. They a quick to respond and very thorough in their answers and are always so patient and respectful!

Negative: There is a learning curve if you don't know the lingo and purpose of things like Assets, etc, but that is with anything new.

    Easy to Build, Many problems

    Date: Jun 28 2023

Summary: I've been with EverWeb for a year now. Before that, I had iWeb, and I absolutely loved iWeb. However, Apple stopped supporting iWeb, and thus, iWeb became obsolete. After much searching around, EverWeb was the closest thing to iWeb.

The learning curve on EverWeb was easy. Their tutorials were helpful. I had to rebuild my entire website, and I loved using EverWeb's website to do this. I could call for help, and they responded quickly. Their prices were fair.
However, there were a LOT of problems. One example: my website had lines throughout some of the pages that I didn't create. There were other technical problems that are too involved to get into here. Many of their suggested help didn't work.

When I got a new computer, my EverWeb website didn't transfer, and I almost lost my entire website, which was literally close to 90 hours of work. I was upset, almost in tears, and one of the EverWeb employees (Joseph) mocked me for this. He was HORRIBLE and said he wouldn't deal with an emotional female. !!! I came very close to closing my account with EverWeb, but the only reason I didn't was because the other staff members were professional and I never experienced a problem like that with any of the other EverWeb employees.

Now, the entire app crashes whenever I click on one of my pages. I've had several problems like this. And now, EverWeb discourages phone help. The last few times I've called, I've experienced a long wait, and after a long time on their phone getting transferred here and there, the recording tells you to call back or email them with your problem.

All in all, I love working with their website, and most of the staff members are helpful.

Positive: Easy to build your website.
The learning curve is easy, and their tutorials are helpful.
    Customer support responds quickly.

    Negative: Many things go wrong.
Customer support often doesn't fix the problem.

    EverWeb Hosting Pro package

    Edited: Aug 29 2023

Summary: I think EverWeb as a website builder is really cool BUT it sucks that the service is not what was promised!

There are a 2-3 guys who are interested in helping you and are also very kind and supporting. If you have lots of time for waiting, repeating yourself in emails and good nerves it's the perfect fit.

Positive: The website builder is cool and easy for creative people with the drag and drop feature for photos etc.
After Apple had scrapped iWeb I was looking for something similar and let EverWeb transfer my site about 10 years ago. Since I've always made my websites myself, I wanted to build a second website this year and that worked well.. till a technical problem arises..

Negative: I bought the Pro Hosting Service from EverWeb because it says 24/7 support. But they should name it "Left alone", because you are left alone with issues. You never reach anybody via phone. The email answers take up to 8 hours and then somebody else is answering. I had 5 different people answering on one little issue talking around the subject and finally got a problem resolved after 5 days what was in the end easy to answer.
It's really frustrating to sit on your new website and waiting for them to respond. Now a new little problem and again no real help in 30 hours.. 5 different people explaining you what you already tried. After trying again to call them with no success, you write them again and repeat yourself. Then you sit there and wait another couple of hours for a new answer. If you are not an IT pro it doesn't make sense to expect quick and easy help from a Hosting Pro package! But that was promised to me when I bought it!
