Not suitable for business-critical transactional email Date: Aug 19 2026
Summary: The biggest issue for us was not simply that a suspension occurred. Email providers obviously need to protect their infrastructure and deliverability.
What made the experience unacceptable was the combination of an abrupt interruption of a production service, limited remediation options, difficulty obtaining actionable technical information and finally the refusal to refund a substantial unused prepaid balance after Emailit had permanently decided not to provide the service to us.
For a business-critical transactional email system, incident handling and continuity matter as much as the API itself.
Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Emailit for critical production infrastructure.Positive: The API was simple to integrate and the prepaid credit model initially looked convenient for transactional email.
Negative: Our production workspace was suspended after Spamhaus reports. We cooperated with support, asked repeatedly for actionable technical information and ultimately accepted that Emailit would not restore our account.

We have since migrated to other providers.
The main unresolved issue is financial: at the time the service became unusable, our dashboard still showed 4,889,709 unused prepaid credits.
Emailit refused to refund that unused balance and relied on its AUP. We proposed a simple resolution: refund the unused prepaid balance and we would consider the matter closed. This was refused, so a recovery procedure has now been initiated. -

Avoid for business-critical transactional email Date: Aug 19 2026
Summary: For a hobby project this may be a different consideration, but based on our experience I would not recommend EmailIt for business-critical infrastructure.
When an email provider is integrated into a production SaaS platform, reliability is not only about whether the API works. The way incidents, suspensions and remediation are handled is equally important.
Our experience showed us that a production account can become unavailable following an abuse/deliverability issue and that, despite actively trying to investigate and resolve the problem, access may ultimately not be restored.
We are also currently disputing EmailIt's refusal to reimburse our unused prepaid credits.
After this experience, we migrated away from EmailIt and would not choose the service again for critical transactional email delivery.Positive: The API and initial setup are relatively straightforward, and the prepaid credit model looked attractive for our transactional email use case.
Negative: Our experience with EmailIt became extremely poor as soon as we encountered a deliverability issue.

Our production workspace was suspended following Spamhaus reports, effectively stopping our transactional email service. We repeatedly asked EmailIt for the technical information necessary to identify the messages and recipients concerned and offered to cooperate and implement corrective measures.
In our experience, the information provided was insufficient to properly investigate the issue. We were ultimately told that the workspace would not be restored.
The most problematic part is that we had purchased approximately €500 of prepaid email credits. Once EmailIt permanently prevented us from using the service, we requested reimbursement of the unused balance. EmailIt refused, relying on its Acceptable Use Policy.
We found the support experience particularly disappointing: abrupt suspension of a production service, very limited remediation options, repeated difficulty obtaining actionable technical information, and ultimately no satisfactory commercial solution regarding the unused prepaid balance. -

AVOID if you want to save your business Date: Sep 12 2025
Summary: Recommendation:
Do not recommend for production email infrastructure. Consider established providers with transparent service levels, proper customer support processes, and business continuity practices.
Suitable For: No legitimate business use cases identified
Not Suitable For: Any business requiring reliable email deliveryPositive: Unfortunately due to our bad experience we realized that the "good" features are of no use if you do not only receive not support but get blocked by the owner of this tool
Negative: EmailIT integration resulted in significant operational disruption for our recruitment business. The service contains critical undisclosed limitations and unprofessional support practices that make it unsuitable for business-critical email communications.

Key Issues Encountered:
Service Limitations:
- Undisclosed 1000 emails/hour rate limiting only discovered after full system deployment
- "Onboarding IP" practice deliberately assigns poor-reputation sending infrastructure to new accounts
- No transparent upgrade path or service level documentation
Support Quality:
Contact "George" (actual owner may be Jiří Žižka - unclear why alias is used) demonstrated unprofessional practices including arbitrary requirement changes and dismissal of legitimate business use cases. Our interview scheduling emails and candidate communications were incorrectly classified as marketing despite full GDPR/CAN-SPAM compliance documentation.
Business Impact Assessment:
- 10,000+ critical transactional emails failed to deliver
- Interview scheduling disrupted across 400,000+ candidate database
- Emergency platform migration required with no data portability assistance
- Estimated business disruption exceeded software cost by significant margin
Quality Assurance Measures Ignored:
We implement Reoon email verification to ensure delivery only to validated, safe inboxes. These professional practices were dismissed without consideration.
