Eleventy is a simple static site generator. Eleventy v0.12.1 needs Node 10 and newer. Eleventy was designed to be an alternative to Jekyll's JavaScript. It has a zero-config default, but flexible configuration options. Eleventy can be used with existing directory structures. Eleventy uses independent templates engines. We don't want you to keep your content captive. It will be easier to migrate your content if you decide to use another template language. Eleventy supports multiple templates languages. You can choose one or all of them in one project. Eleventy is modular. You don't have to start an Eleventy Project from scratch. Eleventy allows you to convert a limited number of templates at once. You can migrate as fast or slow as you like. Eleventy is great with data. You can use both front matter files and external data files to insert content into templates.
