Viel Geld, nur Basics, schlechter Support

    Date: Jul 10 2026

Summary: If I do not receive a competent response and a working solution, I will seek legal advice to recover my payment. Given the license fees DigiMember charges, this remains financially viable even after legal costs.
A company that sells an Elementor integration extension, charges hundreds of euros annually, and cannot provide support from someone who knows what Elementor is, should not be surprised when customers pursue other options.

Positive: DigiMember works reliably in standard WordPress configurations. I particularly appreciate the flexibility to manage memberships manually. something many membership plugins don't support. For basic use cases with standard posts and pages it does the job.

Negative: I have been using DigiMember for 2 years. Before my renewal was due, I encountered a significant technical issue and contacted support: DigiMember interferes with Elementor Pro's Loop Grid Taxonomy Filter Widget when using Custom Post Types and Custom Taxonomies. The filter works correctly in the backend but shows only one result in the frontend. Deactivating DigiMember immediately resolves the issue, clearly identifying it as a DigiMember bug.
Despite having an open, unresolved support request, my license was renewed and several hundred euros were charged. After 3 follow-ups over 4 weeks, the response I finally received stated they are "in a relaunch" and cannot provide support, offering only to add my bug report to their backlog. The support representative did not even know what Elementor or WordPress is, despite DigiMember selling their own Elementor integration extension.
This is not acceptable for a paying, long-term customer with a reproducible, clearly documented bug in their own Elementor extension.
