These include the ability to release more often, the ease of moving between development and staging and production, as well as the portability of the same workload on any infrastructure. Cloud Native infrastructure allows stateful applications to take advantage elasticity and flexibility. Data can be lost for a long time due to catastrophic events such as power outages, hardware failures, or natural disasters. This makes it difficult for stateful applications to recover.
