DevArmor Description
DevArmor is an innovative application security platform tailored for contemporary engineering and security teams. Rather than waiting until after the coding phase to identify vulnerabilities, DevArmor intervenes earlier in the development cycle by automating threat modeling and integrating secure-by-design methodologies into the software creation process. This proactive approach enables organizations to detect architectural and design-level risks at an early stage, where remediation is both cost-effective and straightforward.
The platform is crafted to seamlessly align with the existing workflows of engineers, ensuring that security becomes an integral part of the development lifecycle instead of a hindrance encountered at the final stages. Additionally, it provides security teams with insights into design risks across applications while equipping developers with the tools to make secure choices without requiring them to be security specialists. With an expanding range of support for modern technology stacks, including components powered by artificial intelligence, DevArmor enhances Application Security (AppSec), facilitates DevSecOps, and bolsters shift-left strategies throughout the software development lifecycle, ultimately aiming to create a more secure software environment.

Threat modeling our team actually use Date: Jul 01 2026
Summary: DevArmor moved us from reactive scanning to actually designing securely up front! It helped us to change our approach to security and how we should implement that in the AI era.
Positive: DevArmor made threat modeling something our engineers actually do instead of avoid. Instead of a one-off exercise before a big release, it runs continuously as our architecture changes, so we catch design flaws while they're still cheap to fix. Setup was quicker than expected, and the fact that developers don't need to be security experts to use it has been huge for adoption on our team. The AI/agentic coverage was a deciding factor for us, it flagged trust-boundary and data-flow risks in our LLM features that our existing scanners completely missed.
Negative: There's a learning curve in the first couple of weeks as you tune it to your stack and get the team into the habit. We have a list of integrations that we would love to see in the product.
