DRAMS Description

DRAMS is a comprehensive inventory and warehouse management system tailored for distilleries and maturation processes. It efficiently monitors the movement of bulk spirits between different vessels, automatically calculates any gains or losses, and produces necessary dispatch documents along with ownership transfer records. The system manages barrel inventory at an individual cask level, tracking essential details such as age, vessel type, owner, valuation, location, and maturation losses, while also allowing for grouping into parcels. Additionally, it supports operations across multiple warehouse locations, enabling users to visualize layouts, analyze utilization, reconcile actual counts, and oversee storage-related rent and invoicing. Furthermore, the management of finished product recipes and batches facilitates the definition of blends based on various factors including age, type, region, or location, while also generating pick lists and conducting cost analyses. To ensure compliance with regulations, DRAMS provides templates for shipments, excise reporting—such as TTB, HMRC, and EMCS—and maintains detailed audit trails for transparency and accountability. This robust system not only streamlines operations but also enhances the overall efficiency of distillery management.
