It can check design and manufacturing rules on PCB designs databases, Gerber, and NC data at any point during the PCB designing cycle. DFMStream encourages collaboration between engineer/designer/fabricator. Even if a PCB design passes the standard design rule verification in the PCBCAD system, it is possible for critical flaws to be overlooked that could slow down the transition to manufacturing or assembly. Often, flaws are discovered before production begins when the design data is being processed for manufacturing or assembly. These flaws can lead to costly delays in time to market. Designs are then updated and reprocessed in order to fix issues found in pre-production.
