DAOstack, an open-source project, promotes technology and decentralized governance. We need to work together around our shared values to solve today's most pressing problems. The Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) is a new type and type of organization that blockchain makes possible. A DAO is a network that includes stakeholders and has no central governing body. Instead, it uses a set of rules encoded onto a blockchain. We believe that DAOs have the potential to bring people together. Alchemy allows projects to seamlessly govern themselves, allocating shared resource and making efficient decisions at scale. DAOs are designed to manage existing assets and work towards a common goal. DAOs that manage physical spaces such as co-working spaces or condominiums. DAOs that unite large coalitions to work together on common issues such as legal protection and environmentalism.
