Intuitive design and helpful team Date: Mar 16 2022
Summary: I was impressed with the responsive customer service of CryptoTaxCalculator, at least I found it much faster and helpful than that of Coinbase at their start (though different level of service).
Positive: Easy to understand and navigate through the pages and data,
flexible to monitor and correct any transaction discrepancy,
above all, responsive team to all my inquiries.Negative: Will provide more constructive feedback as soon as I file my first crypto tax report at CRA.

A few things notably missing, but the best I've found after trying 5 others Date: Dec 20 2021
Summary: Although there are a few shortcomings, it is extremely complicated to nail crypto and I feel they're on a better track than anyone. I haven't regretted the yearly sub.
Support - a mixed bag. Typically it'll take two days, but David is excellent - the rare type that closely reads and understands questions and gives excellent, precise answers. The experience with Patrick wasn't good though when I was trying to find where to enter current prices for unsupported tokens - Patrick not understanding my desire to see unrealised gains and have a substantial part of the main page - the dashboard - relatively accurate.
CTC is good already, and I think it'll only get better, so do highly recommend.Positive: CTC was the app I went ahead and paid for after trialling Koinly, CoinTracker, Crypto.com, Rotki, and Kubera.
I was particularly interested in how well it handled trickier transactions, IDO's, staking rewards and exchange support. So far it does better than the rest, in particular Koinly - it's main competition for Australia. IMO Koinly gets one or two tax issues incorrect, but CTC gets them right.
CRC is well laid out too - lots of info on the page for a glance rather than Koinly's more clicks approarch. Kubera was a beautiful design but isn't crypto specific - and no generalised program is going to handle crypto well.
Wallet/Exchange pretty good, nicely organised and configured, but syncing about 7/10. Some major companies like Gate.io (#9 on CMC) and Celsius have APIs but can only be imported via CSV which is a pain. MEXC (#25) not supported and its CSV incompatible so bit of mucking around there. And I get the rare transactions on BSC not coming through - but a hard sync gets them perfectly.Negative: 1. Desperately needs the ability to enter a current price for currently held assets that it can't fetch prices for. I'd rather a token's worth using a price I haven't updated for a week, just like transactions I haven't imported for a week, that in showing the tokens worth $0. It makes the main page pretty worthless - Overall Balance, Unrealised Gains (overall and for each unsupported coin), and Winners and Losers simply can not be accurate without this. Sharesight, my share tracker, allows manual entry of current prices.

2. I really can't use the reports directly as the CGT methods only have LIFO, FIFO and HIFO, with one method applying to the whole portfolio. What I'm missing is the additional "Minimise CGT", "Minimise gain" and "Maximise gain" options, and on a per asset per year basis that Sharesight allows. But the reports still help out a ton - it would be impossible without it.
3. Pricing - tricky one. I'll likely need the top Day Trader tier soon despite not being anything like a day trader - a few buys per week max and I rarely sell. It's all these silly staking rewards of mere dollars I get daily which I wish Binance and the like would just credit me weekly. Or buying a token with low liquidity can sometimes result in something like 20 transactions at all the different prices the order was filled at. Not CTC's fault, it's DB space nonetheless and each has to be tracked separately for CGT (and additionally income for staking rewards), but just know transactions can really up quickly. -

So far so good! Date: Dec 16 2021
Summary: Being new to crypto tax, so far i'm very pleased with this service. I hope they add NFT's in the future. so far so good!
not your keys, not your coins. DRS this platform helps keep track of all your trades once you enter them via API or CSV. So make sure to keep a log all your trades!Positive: This service has many features, one including adding wallets that are not listed, but being able to relabel them from a CSV file.
Helpful customer service.
Trade cost basis breakdown on each trade.
Free trial without adding CC details is a huge pro!Negative: It can get confusing for new crypto users however once you understand how and what you need to be taxed on, relives many headaches!

Inability to import wallet addresses that are on the ETH blockchain that are not supported directly on crypto tax software, however you can relabel/link the address that is listed as the receiving address from an exchange or supported wallet to a CSV file that you imported so cost basis and stuff update to that address. click on the 3 dots on the right of the transfer in question and click edit, then scroll to the bottom of the listed wallets and at the bottom will be your imported wallet you want to link/label as!
Slightly for more for advanced users.
I don't believe they support NFT's. -

CryptoTaxCalculator provided great service from start to finish. Date: Dec 11 2021
Summary: Happy with the service and will stick with them! Tax time can be daunting and can be difficult to remember past years transactions, especially when having to start from scratch. Im happy with the team as I got a result when I thought it would never get resolved with the many challenges.
Positive: Customer Service, especially David who was able to provide a single point of contact and answer all my questions! Appreciate the support through my difficult taxes.
Negative: The challenges were mainly to do with the reports from my exchanges and not all the data is provided in the reports.

Crypto tax calculator Date: Nov 29 2021
Summary: Excellent product, with all the other programmes I have used the results were full of errors, the CGT calls were wildly out.
Positive: The product works it’s easy to import files from kraken, ledger and Trezor ; 2 years CGT done in 40 mins, well done. This is the first product I have found which is not full of bugs and the CGT is accurate.
Negative: Nothing so far, I have not found any issues when using the software.
