Summary: Contractor Foreman is an all-in-one project management program. You can handle proposals, change orders, time sheets, daily logs, etc and is the best value compared to the other programs we found available.

Positive: The timecards with GPS and the change orders are the best features for our business. Overall the system is pretty convenient to use.

Negative: It is a pretty nice system; overall there is not much to complain about.

Summary: Overall, this software is the best priced and most functional project management software we have found. We are happy with its performance so far.

Positive: Our company has fully migrated our operations to CF over the past few months. It has been a great organizational tool to manage all of our ongoing projects. The best part about CF is their support team, and they are always available to assist and answer your questions about the number of features.

Negative: With the constant development of the software, we run into issues every once in a while with existing features. But a quick message to the support team, they get it fixed quickly.

Summary: We are very happy with the change to Contractor Foreman. Overall, it's able to do what we need with less expense and less time in staff training. It's been reliable and any they are always releasing new features. They've even worked with us on creating some custom features for the way our company functions.

Positive: Contractor Foreman has been easy to implement for our staff. We used another high-cost cloud-based software prior to this and while the functionality is a little different, Contractor Foreman covers all the essential needs at a fraction of the cost.

Negative: There isn't much not to like - while there is a learning curve to any new software, the tutorials and customer support made the transition simple.

Summary: I think our company learned this program really fast and was easy for our field workers to pick up on. It is really nice to be able to change things last minute if you are out of the office. Overall, it has been a good change to our company.

Positive: I like the ease of sending purchase orders to vendors. You can easily find products you are looking for within the cost item database. I also like the ease of creating a project from an estimate. You can easily choose items you want on the project, by pulling from the estimate. I also like the availably of accessing the program from any device.

Negative: I am not a fan of the scheduling feature. If there was an option to schedule by crew and have it add to the calendar, it would be much easier to use.

Summary: Been fantastic, good customer service and great product. Terrific value, especially when compared to market leaders such as Procore.

Positive: Great value and a ton of functionality for the price. Couldn’t ask for more as far as customer service is concerned.

Negative: Takes a little bit of effort in setting up and not widely used in the industry.

Summary: We have been looking for a software to help with communication between the field and the office. We were also looking for a way to keep daily logs and photos. We looked at a lot of software programs to help accomplish this feat, and they all came up short. Contractor Foreman is the best we have found.

Positive: The software is intuitive and easy to use. The support has been amazing and the "Live Chat" feature is really helpful. It has everything we were looking for in a Project Management Software.

Negative: Not much. Would like a way to track Lien Waivers.

Summary: We chose Contractor Foreman because we wanted ONE program that would accomplish the tasks of the many (6 or so) programs we were using. This software helped to consolidate our efforts and bring our company together in regards to standard operating procedures. We are still in the beginning stages of implementation, however we've been able to run many projects through from start to finish and we are very pleased with the plan.

Positive: This is a comprehensive software, that my company has integrated into everyday use. The aspect I like the most is that it is always improving. The innovators working in the background at Contractor Foreman are constantly seeking to optimize.

Negative: The program has monthly updates which demonstrates Contractor Foreman's dedication to be the best possible system, however sometimes various items would be updated although (for us) the original format worked well. Many times these were slight adjustments, but sometimes the changes cost us time in working out the new configuration.

Summary: Contractor Forman is the best alternative of Builderlink and gives huge opportunities to small construction company.

Positive: CF has all the features a customer builder requires for less than a fraction of the price of most of the competitors like builderlink. We use the daily log feature everyday. The gantt chart feature is amazing.

Negative: The updates is very frequent and sometimes will have some glitches. However they do fix it in a timely manner.

Summary: Extremely good transition for my company to move to Contractor foreman. Very professional Templates.

Positive: Versatile east to use and cost effective. A very professional look, with templates that put you a cut above the rest. Very effective at managing leads and costs.

Negative: The daily report feature is not in the basic package.

Summary: Contractor Foreman has taken our business to the next level. Saving us time on employee time tracking, project scheduling and estimate turn around with the estimate template feature.

Positive: The interface and design are easier to work with and we received a lot of value for the price.
The time card feature has been extremely helpful to our business. The scheduling feature has saved me hours of time. The vehicle and daily logs are also a tremendous help to get our business.

Negative: At times the time card feature has issues syncing with quickbooks.

Summary: Overall I always suggest friends who are contractors and are looking to get more efficient to look into it.

Positive: We use the tool for project planning and time tracking. To be honest we probably under utilize the software because there are so many things it can do. But the time tracking (with GPS location) and the project planning and GANT scheduling is great.

Negative: To be honest there isn’t that much to dislike. If I had to pick one thing it’s that they don’t have an iPad app. Also the pictures on the service tickets could be better.

Summary: Top notch! Great customer service! These guys are the best! Ready to help and don't mind walking you through the the software.

Positive: This has ton of features that can be used with great ease. Easy to learn and the customer support is phenomenal.

Negative: The pages could load faster. When going from page to page it has taken longer than expected.

Summary: We were able to adapt the software to our business rather than fitting into the software. The other software was overly complicated. Only allowed 5 active projects. Had to create a project before sending an estimate or invoice. Overpriced. Layout/interface didn't make sense to me. No dashboard. No accounts receivable. No confirmation an estimate or invoice was viewed. And more...

Positive: Software designed by people that have been in the home remodeling/ general contracting business. The software is flexible/customizable so it can be set up the way you run your business not forcing us to try and make the software fit our business. It's updated monthly with new features being added. They take suggestions and allow users to "thumbs up" other user's suggestions. The price is very reasonable compared to competitors.

Negative: Some minor website glitches. Some things could be simplified.

Summary: Great software...the hardest part is to make people use it...Great customer service. Always evolving and advancing and very attentive to the voice of the users.

Positive: I like the ease of use and the flexibility of the software. I really like that everything is completely adjustable and if something is missing the development team is really attentive to the suggestions and new options or features. Its always being updated and improved and has a great deal of options and features that are very helpful.

Negative: Sometimes has some bugs but they are addressed and fixed right away so no big deal.

Summary: Narrowed it down to Knowify and Contractor Foreman. These two had the most similar features, but Knowify was more than twice as expensive, so it wasn't worth spending that much more for a better UI.
