Summary: Overall, Consensus is one of the critical pieces of software I use on a daily basis. I send demo videos after many of my prospect calls and use it as a means to keep prospects warm in my pipeline. It's changed the way that I go after and close business.
Positive: Keeping prospects warm in between meetings is mission critical. Consensus' platform allows me to create custom content that is delivered in a seamless, low-pressure environment. I can now engage with my prospects and share resources with them that are customized and meaningful within the context of our engagement.
Negative: The front-end UX is a little clunky compared to other SaaS solutions, but I haven't seen it meaningfully get in the way of a prospect being able to access the content I am sharing with them.

Summary: Overall it's been a great experience. I use it on a weekly basis both in new prospecting efforts and in follow ups.
Positive: I really like all of the different areas of content that we can arm our customers and prospects with. Short demos, testimonial videos, technical shorts, etc.
Negative: It doesn't always pull the persons name from their email so you you have to manually type it in.

Summary: Can't imagine doing my Account Management role with out this tool. I've been using it for 3+ years and it's helped me close many of deals without the need for a live demo.
Positive: Easy to use, reduces the deal cycle, can track who has watched and what was important. Great integrations with Salesforce and Outlook.
Negative: Theres not much that I don't like about Consensus. The only challenge is the outlook plug in sometimes doesn't work so you have to go the long way round.

Summary: I use the Consensus platform daily to send pre-recorded demos to prospects and deals that need to be accelerated. The great thing about the platform is that you can record personalised introduction videos. I can see a measurable improvement in the deal velocity of my deals thanks to Consensus.
Positive: platform is very easy to use, there is a great library of demos, and great integration with Gmail to quickly send to prospects.
Negative: There is nothing really of note; it has great experience so far. Keep up the great work.

Summary: Aside from the excellent tool, the service from Consensus during the implementation period was excellent. I would definitely choose this tool again.
Positive: This tool is intuitively designed and very easy to use. I particularly like the integrated video software. Some of the video editing tools that I've tried are very powerful, but are hard to learn, but not Consensus. I was productive in minutes!
Having the information about when your prospects viewed a demo and what sections they deemed most important is invaluable and can enable more timely follow up by Sales.Negative: There isn't really anything that I don't like about the Consensus tool.

Summary: Overall Consensus really meets a ton of my needs. It is a great resource not only to contact customers for new products but also training team members on these new products.
Positive: Great way to share resources to potential customers. I love to have record my meetings and share it to the customers so they can refresh what we spoke about.
Negative: I do wish there could me more tracking options and editing tools within the program. For example, if I make a video and a team member needs to share it, the tracking capabilities go to the team member.

Summary: Use Consensus on a regular basis for training, videos, recaps. My team, especially enjoys the ability to create demo boards where it all allows us to give the viewer options of which demo to view based on their role within their company.
Positive: The ability to edit.
The ability to track demo performance after it has been sent out, including, but not limited to Watch time how many people it was forwarded to it was forwarded to and any comments.Negative: Product can be a little bit finicky when attempting to publish.

Allows to discover other hidden stake holders.
Comes with an outlook extensions directly into email and also a chrome extension for on the go.
Integrates with our other pieces of CRM softwareNegative: It would be ideal if you could send a "Pack" to prospects. I.E. Multiple videos at once rather than having to create a new link every time.

Positive: I enjoy how easy this tool is to use with the ability to tailor demos for prospects and add a personalised touch. The ability to track views is great.
Negative: No real cons although it would be good if prospects could provide feedback as the video plays.

Using Consensus as a Sales Tool Date: Apr 11 2024
Summary: When I have used Consensus the most is for Sales enablement and customers reviewing recordings and specialist areas of the product. Often someone is unable to attend our meeting or we need to include a global audience, so by being able to get our demonstrations across to a wider group AND track how they are interacting with that content is key to our sales process. This is a great product that our whole team use, and is absolutely essential to our sales process. Because it is a cloud solution and has capability to send content globally, as a global organisation ourselves this fits in perfectly with our requirements from a sales process.
Positive: This is a great tool that is absolutely essential to our sales process. We often share recordings and demo's so this is a great sales enablement tool to help with our customers. As an organisation we use this tool daily and it is key to communications between customers and prospective customers. Easy to use and capable of holding any videos and content that is crucial to send in an attractive format for our sales process. Having used the system for over 2 years, it has been key to how we share demonstrations to wider audiences, especially those that are global and require different time zones, so they are not able to attend the live version of the meeting or demo! Great product!
Negative: In general Consensus is great, it would be useful to have some more intuitive navigation around the product for users who haven't accessed the system before so they don't need training to come in and create content themselves. The tool is great for being able to send information to customers and prospective customers, and the analytics could be easier to access or supplied in a more data friendly format.

Summary: So far helpful, but could definitely use room for more customization. The customer service has been helpful with bugs encountered so far. Our integration with other sales tools has been fine but can still be a little inconsistent in what it delivers.
Positive: The tool is easy to use, has already helped us disseminate demos and closed deals faster. This helps since the nature of our software has broad application and use cases so we need to be in as many hands at once as possible for our deal cycles and this helps us get there.
Negative: Maybe it's just the tier of subscription my team uses, but I can't seem to customize demo boards I want to send to customers with demos already in our library. It would be nice to be able to quickly piece together single experiences so we could share a full story with a customer based on features they request to see.

Summary: Overall i really like using Consensus. I've been using it for about 3 years, i used to use Smart Links, previously Point Drive for Sales Navigator, but now i couldn't imagine using another product.
Positive: Easy to use, integrates well with Salesforce, easy to share lots of content with multiple contacts all at once.
Negative: The only negative point i can think of is how content looks when shared on social media.

Positive: Consensus helps our organization in structuring customer demos while helping the prospects make streamlines decisions, fostering collaboration with transparency. Most uses of Consensus in our organization are customer facing personnel such as Customer Success managers, sales and also presales team members. Thanks to the scalable and flexible capabilities of Consensus , our teams are able to create unique and personalized demos. Consensus also acts as a repository where we can store demos and reuse the demos as demo boards. Further to these, Consensus also provides us with important demolytics which helps us in our sales life cycles and decision making. We also use Consensus as a collaborative tool for our teams. Over all it has been a helpful tool in our organizations digital selling initiatives.
Negative: Consensus might not be mostly suitable to upload lard scale technical demos as we have experienced it giving errors. Therefore with future enhancements I believe this more be a much more flexible and scalable product.
