Clio - for the modern lawyer Date: Dec 22 2020
Summary: Recommended for anyone who is tired of using slow and inaccessible practice management software. Easily scalable to include additional users.
Positive: Ease of access, including from mobile devices; ability to import data from PCLaw; fast and effective customer support on the few occasions I have needed it.
Negative: For a little while, the app required signing in every few minutes; that appears to have been corrected.

Extremely satisfied Date: Dec 22 2020
Summary: I would recommend this software to the New law firm owner and the experienced firm managing partner. The time management this software provides is unmatched.
Positive: Cleo is a super user-friendly cloud-based software, that allows the business driven attorney to properly and consistently track client cases, income, and billable hours. Having a background in business, this software stands in the shoes of at least 4 to 5 necessary business operational personnel.
Negative: The biggest con would be the accuracy in accounting. More specifically as it relates to income versus expenses and other tax deductions. I think the reporting feature could be a bit more accurate, nonetheless still very user-friendly

It's Got Everything Edited: Jan 22 2021
Summary: Incredible. I was doing everything manually by myself before using Clio. I can't say how much time and money it has saved me. It's a must have for a solo practitioner or small firm.
Positive: Easy client and matter setup, one click billing, easy time capture through the mobile application, great price, excellent service, constant innovation.
Negative: There really aren't many cons. Sometimes the connection is slow or an integration is down that affects performance, but nothing that hasn't been addressed efficiently.

I Recommend Clio Date: Dec 17 2020
Summary: Clio has been a very affordable option for me, with great support, as noted above. When you are a solo practitioner and have to handle all administrative and IT issues yourself, having great support is essential.
Positive: I have been using Clio since January 2013 when I started my own firm. Right from the beginning, the customer support has been stellar--it's the gold standard. Clio handles my timekeeping, billing, document creation, intake (through Clio Grow), and task management. It is continually innovating and improving its capacity, as well. It has changed a lot since 2013, adding many ways to increase productivity and efficiency. I highly recommend it, particularly if you want a reasonably-priced system with fantastic customer support.
Negative: I use FasterSuite to interface with Clio, and that started before Clio introduced Launcher. I would discontinue FasterSuite (it is a separate subscription cost) however, it interfaces with Outlook in a way that allows me to not just save communications to client folders (as Clio does) but go to those saved emails and continue to use them as Outlook emails, e.g., replying or forwarding them right from the separate Outlook folder. I would lose that capability if I switched to only using Clio. Maybe one other thing: every call to Clio generates an email asking for feedback. That is really too frequent for someone trying to reduce admin time. I can tell you I get about 2 - 2.5 billable hours in on a good day, since I do all my own support, so adding email to my inbox that frequently (it's already insane how much non-client email I get from every source!) is not appreciated.

Clio Edited: Feb 05 2021
Summary: Very good system everything you need in on place instead of having other programs as well. One system we can all understand.
Positive: It is a system that allows you to see many features in one screen like the Dashboard and it can be customized to your needs at the law firm.
Negative: There should only be one place to upload documents, our clients upload in the contact tab as it has a document tab and they will upload in the matter as well. There should only be one tab for documents to be uploaded.

Great, simple, and easy to use legal software! Date: Dec 17 2020
Summary: Clio has been the best practice management software I've used so far. The team is extremely helpful and they have webinars that count to the continued learning hours.
Positive: The software is easy to navigate with most features accessible from the sidebar. There is a time tracker to assist with hours on a client file. Time can be paused and resumed saving tracking from breaks.
Negative: The billable hours targets aren't as customizable as I would like, however with Clio making constant upgrades I don't see this being an issue for long.

Compact and Easy to Use Date: Dec 19 2021
Summary: Overall, I enjoy Clio more than other case management softwares I’ve used. It has many features even at its most basic plan, and it’s compact in an incredibly useful way. Rather than navigating 3 other platforms to keep my law firm organized, it only takes Clio. Love that.
Positive: I love that everything is in one place. Calendars, zoom integration, editing/updating documents easily, contacts, and billing are all in one place. I find its organization skills are excellent for both smaller and larger firms.
Negative: Updating contacts or adding a related contact to a matter can be quite difficult at times. I’ve found that rather than redirecting you back to the matter you just added a contact to, it will direct you to the contact. Additionally, sometimes it takes a couple minutes for the search options to actually update. If I’ve added a new matter into Clio, it will take around 5 refreshes before it actually shows up in the search bar.

Clio advances in leading management Date: Mar 20 2021
Summary: With Clio it is possible to automate all the daily routine activity within the office, which helps to focus efforts on other types of activities such as improving relations with each client, and this is excellent in terms of speed, since it is not necessary to spend so much time managing electronic signatures or mail requests.
Positive: Clio is an administrative software for legal processes of any kind, focusing mostly on the accounting management of each case you work with, and on the organization of all files, clients and contacts used during the execution of these through basic CRM functions.
Negative: Switching between one case and another can lead to errors when working with several cases because Clio does not include a bookmark system to make it easier to identify them separately. In addition, there are no problems with the implementation of Clio for any area within legal management. It is recommended to work with Clio.

Positive: Clio streamlines productivity by not having to utilize other applications to manage client accounts but works seamlessly with various apps if you want to. It's extremely easy to use and is supported by a knowledgeable, responsive, customer support team.
Negative: Although the calendar will notify you if a limitation is going to run on a case, at this time you can not search by Statute of Limitations to compile a complete list.

Effective Product Date: Dec 15 2020
Summary: I would highly recommend CLIO as a product to my colleagues. We have only been a firm since September 2019 and it has been an integral part of managing our operation.
Positive: This product is user friendly, provide multiple reports for productivity/usage, and allows ease of use of court rules and its calendaring tool.
Negative: If we have a single client with multiple matters, we find managing that clients trust monies across all matters to be challenging.

Good solution with a few kinks to work out. Date: Dec 15 2020
Summary: Overall it's a good solution, simple to use, with many interesting features. It still needs to work out a few kinks, but the overall experience is positive and the solution is constantly working to better itself.
Positive: Cloud based solution. Variety of the tools available. Heavily customizable. Easy to use and get familiar with.
Negative: Various updates that don't always simplify the work and cause inaccessibility to documents . Changed the "documents" so that you can't see right away who created a specific doc and it's harder to get older version of the document.
