Claude Tag Description
Claude Tag is a collaborative AI teammate from Anthropic that brings Claude into Slack so teams can delegate work directly from shared channels. Instead of using Claude only in a private chat or one-off coding session, users can tag @Claude in a Slack conversation and assign tasks while the team keeps working. Claude can use the tools, data, codebases, and channel context that administrators choose to connect, helping it complete work with more relevant background knowledge. Within a channel, Claude behaves like a multiplayer assistant because everyone can see what it is doing and continue from the same thread. It can plan tasks, break work into stages, respond with finished outputs, and work asynchronously over longer periods. Claude Tag can also learn from permitted Slack channels and connected data sources while keeping memories scoped to the channels and access rules defined by administrators. If ambient behavior is enabled, Claude can proactively flag relevant information, follow up on unresolved threads, and keep teams updated. Administrators can manage sensitive data access, set monthly spend limits, review activity logs, and create separate Claude identities for different teams or workflows. Claude Tag is built for organizations that want to make AI delegation part of everyday team collaboration.

Great way to use Claude Date: Jun 24 2026
Summary: Claude Tag seems most comparable to Viktor so far. Have not decided which one is better for long term use yet.
Claude Tag is a fantastic productivity tool that makes teamwork easier and helps reduce busywork. It feels less like a chatbot and more like a helpful team member that can stay on top of projects and conversations. If your team spends a lot of time in Slack, Claude Tag is definitely worth trying.Positive: Claude Tag feels like having an extra teammate in Slack who’s always available to help. It can keep up with conversations, provide useful insights, and handle tasks without requiring people to constantly switch between different tools. The way it works directly within Slack makes collaboration much smoother and more efficient.
Negative: There can be a bit of a learning curve at first, especially when figuring out the best ways to use it within your team's workflow. Some teams may also need time to build trust in letting AI handle more responsibilities.
