Developed in partnership with teachers nationwide, Google Classroom is an intuitive and efficient tool that allows educators to oversee their coursework effectively. It enables them to create classes, assign tasks, provide grades and feedback, all within a centralized interface. The platform's straightforward setup and seamless integration with G Suite for Education help minimize repetitive tasks, allowing teachers to concentrate on their primary role: educating students. Google Classroom is available at no cost to schools and is part of the G Suite for Education package. In line with Google's commitment to educational tools, it adheres to stringent security protocols. Additionally, both teachers and students can conveniently log in from any computer or mobile device, ensuring easy access to assignments, learning resources, and feedback. Over 60% of K–12 schools across the United States utilize Clever, which includes 95 out of the top 100 largest school districts, translating to around 15 million students who access the platform each month. We take pride in collaborating with the educational community to provide every student with a wealth of opportunities. The inception of Clever stemmed from co-founder Dan Carroll's challenges as a technology director in Denver, where his ambition to leverage technology for saving teachers’ time and personalizing education was hindered by numerous CSV files and forgotten passwords. Dan reflects on his experience, stating, “I aimed to be an innovator, but I found myself entangled in the role of a human API.” Software has the remarkable ability to empower educators and innovate learning methods; however, a vital prerequisite is that all users must be able to log in swiftly and securely. To address Dan's dilemma, we created a single sign-on system that enables 60% of U.S. K–12 institutions to focus more on education rather than getting bogged down by login issues, thereby enhancing the overall learning experience for students and teachers alike.
