Clever was created by Dan Carroll, co-founder and former school tech director in Denver. Many CSV files and forgotten passwords hampered Dan's plans to use technology to save time and personalize learning. Dan recalls that he wanted to be an innovator but was stuck as a human API. Software has the potential of empowering teachers and creating new learning opportunities. First, however, one thing must be done. Logging in must be easy and secure for everyone.
