Summary: Very positive - This is a much needed solution to consolidating data from several Excel files into a database that can be searched and reports can be consolidated for review by regulatory agencies.
Vertex will finalize project with user training.

Positive: Professionalism of all Chemical Safety staff and the follow and the staff's support in addressing all problems to resolution. I would like to recognize the efforts of John in particular in helping Vertex navigate through development, testing and finalization to customize the software for our needs.

Negative: This was more on the Vertex team - due to COVID and the overwhelming amount of work to maintain site operations, that the project timeline was extended past our expectations. Kudos to John for keeping us on track.

Summary: I have had an excellent experience with Chemical Safety in setting up and customizing the EMS RTS software for our facilities. The product is a valuable tool to help us with our radioactive inventory and reporting requirements and will be a vast improvement to our current system. The support team has been extremely responsive to our requests and questions, and patient with our long implementation process.

Positive: The Chemical Safety EMS RTS allows for substantial customization of the system, and the team was extremely helpful in implementing our requests. The system is easy to use both from an administrator and end user viewpoint, with a intuitive interface and dashboard.

Negative: While the interface was easy to use, I would still like to see it streamlined to reduce the number of "clicks" it takes to reach the desired fields.

Summary: This was the first system we finally agreed to keep, due to its simplicity and works very well in case of osha visits, its very easy to add SDS forms without any complications, the help line is always very responsive in following up to the customer's request.

Positive: Very user friendly specially with employee language barriers, they ca be trained to type in the chemical name and produce the SDS needed.

Negative: I truly wish this system would allow the customer to attach our company's safety related files to the APP such as. IPP, First Aid-emergency program files, Heat and Illness program, employee handbook, etc.
I haven't seen anyone doing this yet, but it would be a great idea, desperately needed for employers be in fully osha compliant.

Summary: Highly recommended software for chemical inventory system with all the bells and whistles at a affordable price.

Positive: User friendly, customer support from day 1. John was very helpful getting our excel inventory into the software. Label printing feature and iPad/scanner feature makes it very professional.

Negative: Nothing so far that I can think. The unit is very versatile.

Summary: Overall my experience has been great. The support staff have answered all of my questions, even on the weekends. Best customer service!

Positive: The support staff are AMAZING!! They are willing to work with me and within my companies budget to customize the app to fit all of our needs.

Negative: The program is a little confusing to use at first, but every time I use it, it gets easier and easier.

Summary: Use it to put project-specific information together. Easy to input new SDSs without any difficulty.

Positive: So easy to use and relatively inexpensive. Provides many features that make putting projects together very easy.

Negative: The interface is very plain. Would like to see more graphical interface.

Summary: Very happy with Chemical Safety's suite; aside from a few small things that will certainly be improved upon over time, I would highly recommend their suite.

Most importantly, their response time is fast and the information is accurate.

Positive: Customer support was our primary reason for switching from our previous SDS Database vendor; CSS' team has done an outstanding job working with our particular wants and needs.

The system is robust for waste inventory and SDS tracking, which makes regulatory reports a breeze.

Finally, the pricing was much more reasonable when compared to some of the competitors I had spoken with. They had offered a simple SDS database solution with limited capabilities for thousands of dollars... $5 an SDS which they don't even review was, for us, outrageous.

Negative: One pro that some of CSS' competitors had was the simplicity of inputting SDS data. You could scan the SDS or upload a digital copy and their program would collect and interpret data to add in so all you had to do was review for correctness.

Printing GHS labels is rough, the setup for selecting which "sticker" on a sheet to print is strange, it would be easier if you could just click a box that represented the sticker so that you could print multiple labels off at a time.

Summary: Great! Helpful customer service team. Beautiful and functional software for a variety of chemical inventory needs.

Positive: The software is visually appealing, and easy to navigate. Can be used for basic functions like labeling, organizing and disposing. Or can be used for more advanced functions, like reorder points and inventory analysis. A plethora of reports are available to customize your chemical inventory data needs. Customer service is friendly and helpful. And there is a mobile app for both apple and android!

Negative: Apps aren't as easy to navigate as the web version. It would also be helpful to have more tutorial videos for more advanced tasks.

Summary: We are are small group trying to maintain a large inventory, and this program seems to be what we need to stay on top of it.

Positive: Great response time from customer service, easily customizable. Every concern or desire we've had has been addressed promptly. I like how easy it is to import and export into excel.

Negative: Some of the features seem like they would feed the data into other fields, to make it easier to run more vague searches. It seems like you really have to know what location or container you need in order to find it in the system. Either that or it's a learning curve I've yet to master yet.

Summary: The ease of not dealing with paper copies for multiple job sites is what makes this product worth it.

Positive: I like the ease of finding and adding product information. As well as how accessible it is to our crew out in the field.

Negative: Once all the sheets were added we never heard back from the team. I'm assuming it is good to go but, we never had anybody reach out and let us know the binder was complete and ready to use. Once we did the initial how-to and purchased we were pretty much left on our own to figure out the rest.
