This product meets the needs of both hospitals that provide behavioral health services and larger independent behavioral health providers. Cerner Millennium®, a fully integrated, state-of the-art, state of-the-art patient management and electronic health record (EHR) system, provides all patient data in real-time. The system supports decision-making through the incorporation of workflows based upon the most recent scientific evidence. It also provides tools for managing clinical alerts and early detection in situations like sepsis. Millennium is the only medical records system that supports the closed cycle medication administration in all five phases: preparation, validation, dispensing, and administration. It is an open information platform that allows patients to share their data across the entire health network, regardless if they are provided with a solution or a provider.
