CSAM ProSang Description
CSAM ProSang, an advanced Laboratory Information Management System, (LIMS), simplifies the management of blood, cells, and tissues from donation to transplantation. It is currently used in five countries and at more than 180 blood centres in 26 healthcare areas. CSAM ProSang's complete functionality covers all aspects of blood donor management, administration and production, analysis, allocation, and delivery of blood for transplantation. It follows the same proven process for stem cell transplantation, tissue management and organ transplantation. The system can also handle immunological exams such as immunogenicity and tissue type serology. CSAM ProSang records every step of the process, from the moment a sample is taken from a donor to the delivery, analysis, and delivery to the recipient. This is done via barcode labeling. Advanced barcode technology in the system automatically detects and alerts users when blood, tissue, or cell is scanned.
