The Australian Government Department of Health has developed the COVIDSafe app to keep the community protected from coronavirus (COVID-19). Let's work together to stop the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and keep ourselves and others healthy. COVIDSafe uses Bluetooth® technology to locate other COVIDSafe-enabled devices. Your phone will securely log the reference code of any contact you have made with other users. COVID-19 can be diagnosed in you or someone you have been in contact with. The phone's close contact information can be uploaded to your phone and used by state and territory health officials to quickly notify people who have been exposed.
