Summary: I absolutely want to love this SW, especially for the remarkable capabilities at a reasonable price, but the various issues are making it a challenge. I have a license of AutoCAD as well, and while CMS IntelliCAD compares in many areas, it still isn't feature-exact in 2D CAD.

Please, please, please -- the OEM needs to address stability and display issues -- v.10 did not have these issues.

Positive: Most commands are available, and the workflow is very close to AutoCAD. Remarkably fast printing. (I am adding this sentence because the website requires a minimum number of characters, which is moronic.)

Negative: Current 11 and 11.1 version have stability issues -- refresh will crash the current display, leaving a black screen. XREFs are always selectable and selected (whether it indicates it or not), so you must specifically un-select the XREF. Runs out of Graphic memory incredibly quickly. Some fundamental commands don't appear to be available, like PDFCLIP.

This SW should be snappier than it is -- I have a Ryzen 9 7950 with 128GB of DDR5 RAM, 4TB of SSD and 32TB of HD, and a NVidia RTX 3090 with 24GB of RAM. I'm on Windows 11 Pro. I have a 1GB symmetric LAN connection. Every other piece of SW (and I have a very large number of demanding items) is much faster on this machine, but CMS IntelliCAD seems to limit itself to a very small part of the available resources, and I've not been successful in solving that issue.

One other big issue is that there is zero OEM technical support. While the community is knowledgeable and very enthusiastic, having the OEM properly backing the product they're selling is crucial -- that issue alone would be the single reason I can't recommend the SW. For advanced users that are willing to compromise their experience and can take the hit in a production environment, go ahead, but for the average user, it's just not fully ready for prime time.

Positive: The software is incredibly user-friendly, providing a seamless 2D design and drafting experience. The standout feature for me is the absence of a steep learning curve; CMS IntelliCAD requires no additional training, making it exceptionally accessible.

Negative: I struggled to find any substantial drawbacks with CMS IntelliCAD. It's a reliable and efficient tool, especially for 2D drawing. However, like any software, there's always room for enhancement. Perhaps additional advanced features could be incorporated to cater to more complex design needs. Nevertheless, this is a minor point and does not detract significantly from the overall positive experience.

Summary: CMS IntelliCAD is one of quick CAD software to do a Drafting 2D or 3D. You can also running the software in Cloud base or local computer. Even though the software size is small but the features are complete and easy to use.

Positive: Work faster because setup around the object like, rotate stretch and move in one object, you do not need to use command stretch, rotate, or move anymore just click and quick. Software size is small and can running in cloud mode no need to worry about disk capacity.

Negative: Auto OSNAP some times get wrong, but you can use command to manual OSNAP to work better.

Summary: Overall, CMS IntelliCAD is very helpful to quickly create 2D Designs as it has built-in commands with GUI representations on the tool palettes, that is compatible with other known software. Plus, price could be the leading criteria for other users to try it, in addition to it having the same features and functionality as the other softwares.

Positive: CMS IntelliCAD serves it's purpose, which helps me complete my 2D modeling design needs. It has well position tools and well-defined icons for GUI commands on the tool palettes. It is also compatible with AutoCAD, thus, familiar commands can be used with it.

Negative: Like other softwares, installing new ones take some time to set-up, but this is not an issue at all as it is part of the process prior to start creating computer-aided designs.

Summary: Overall the software is super while comparing AutoCAD. Machine drawing is easier than AutoCAD. Working on 3D models is very much easier.

Positive: The user interface is good. The tools are highlighted with special tool bar. File size is less while comparing AutoCAD.

Negative: In osnap tool we have to give command for midpoint, nearest, endpoint. In that you can work better.

Summary: In my opinion, IntelliCAD is a fantastic replacement for the current commercial CAD software.
I can now complete my drawings much more quickly using the numerous options that are available to test out for better work thanks to the program's ease of use and low cost. Don't hesitate to go for it.

Positive: Simple and efficient layout. User-friendly Interface. The overall outline of the software is really approachable and simple to comprehend, moreover, IntelliCAD is less expensive than most other commercial software.

Negative: There is nothing about this software that I dislike. I was able to get all of the essential CAD features without any complications or technological difficulties.

Summary: I love how it's a better alternative for other expensive Cad software, it's affordable, and it isn't taking as much space storage-wise on the computer. Runs smoothly on my PC, so I'm pleased with its performance.

Positive: I like the fact that it doesn't need a long install period of time, unlike other software for designing. The tools are accessible and obvious to the eye. It doesn't lag or crash while you're drawing. So far it's a good software designing option.

Negative: There are not much stuff that I don't like. I guess I could mention the color of the whole interface - which can be with more eye comfort colors to the eyes, because designers spend most of their time looking at the monitors.

Summary: I use intelliCAD to design and draw architectures of wastewater treatment facility. These architectures are complex structures with mechanical equipment inside. I worked with intelliCAD without any difficulty.

Positive: First, it is easy to install. It's not complicated like AutoCAD.
It has all the commands I need.
I use tools for 2D drawing. As I do not work in 3D, I do not use 3D tools.

Negative: I haven't seen any negatives yet. But it seems to be having difficulties in map dwg.

Summary: The CAD program is excellent in general.
IntelliCAD is a wonderful alternative to the widely used AutoCAD, in my opinion.
The program is simple to use and inexpensive, making it an excellent choice for anyone seeking a good deal. The software includes a user interface that is similar to AutoCAD, but it also has several unique features that I believe were intended to improve the user experience. Several file formats are supported by IntelliCAD, as a result, having files produced by other applications isn't a big deal.

Positive: An excellent user interface.
Tools that are easily available.
It does not need a large amount of RAM.

Negative: So far, so good.
I don't have any problems with the program.

Summary: This is a good software. worth buying. Enthusiastic support team. Quick and easy installation. Me and my team are using this software for our company project.

Positive: A software that works well in both 2d and 3d.
i used it to draw 2d. statements that operate fast, switchable. Clear lines.
When printing. Image quality and resolution are quite good.
3d shapes can be cut into different views.

Negative: This software has few tutorials and support tools. I have searched on the internet but there are quite a few articles and clips that support using the software. And the software does not support Japanese.

Summary: Switching is great and if you are new to using any CAD software it's still better than the rest to start off.

Positive: Great way to learn something new, and if you compare it with AutoCAD yes this can really replace it because of its capabilities and user interfaces. starting from the start whenever you download this kind of software installation process is still a big problem sometimes but not anymore, CMS IntelliCAD was so easy to install. Zoom in and zoom out is seamless and quick with a very adaptable user interface. As an engineer when creating any mechanical component zoom in and zoom out always need to be quick without any interruption which i totally found in this CMS, i would really recommend this to everyone who is looking for great & easy CAD software.

Negative: Still finding one.
but if have to give any suggestion so it could be tool panels, if they could be customize on more better way then it would be great.

Positive: This CAD software is impressive. Has tools that are easy to use and access. The modification is very good. It's a very good alternative to AutoCAD.

Negative: There is so much repetition of some tools. Can Almost find them in every section.

Summary: This plugin is very easy to use, quick and compatible for users who knows how to use AutoCAD. Would recommend others.

Positive: Easy and nice features. Very similar to AutoCAD so AutoCAD users can use this software very smoothly and without complications.

Negative: A few features are not as convenient as AutoCAD, they could be improved.

Summary: Coming from AutoCAD, I was able to jump right into drafting. For the price, this is an excellent option for anyone looking to save money from AutoCAD.

Positive: Commands from AutoCAD were compatible with IntelliCAD. I was able to get right into drafting without any tutorials. When selecting a spot with multiple objects, instead of only selecting the top entity, a popup gave me to the option to select the one I wanted. Seemed quick to startup.

Negative: Interface a bit older. Some options were a little hard to find at first. Nothing major.

Summary: I have made a simple model in 2D so i can check how this software works and it is very easy with no problems.

Positive: 1. The software doesn't require too much space and is affordable
2. Easier to use than most other CAD software
3. Easy to learn
4. I prefer this software to all new designers and architects
5. Perfect support service

Negative: I found nothing to dislike everything seems so perfect.
