CC1 Lab Description
Laboratory information management systems play a crucial role in capturing and protecting the provenance and profile for a batch of products. This data can be greatly enhanced if it is captured and managed as part of the entire end-to-end trade cycle. Additional data can be used and monitored throughout the value chain to increase transparency. You can record a variety of product characteristics, both standard and custom-defined. The standard elements include moisture method and bean count and cut, color, shape, aroma, staple, weight/unit of volume. Users can add additional requirements to meet their specific needs. These are integrated into the ongoing data collection process and trade lifecycle. Depending on the commodity and quality control actions taken in-process, visual confirmations of defects per unit as well as counts per unit will also be captured. Physical profiling may also include color and shape grade.
