CC1 Lab Description

Laboratory information management systems play a crucial role in capturing and protecting the provenance and profile for a batch of products. The standard elements include moisture method and bean count and cut, color, shape, aroma, staple, weight/unit of volume. Users can add additional requirements to meet their specific needs. These are integrated into the ongoing data collection process and trade lifecycle. Depending on the commodity and quality control actions taken in-process, visual confirmations of defects per unit as well as counts per unit will also be captured. Physical profiling may also include color and shape grade.
