Summary: We have used BuildIT for about 7 years. Initially we only ran 10-15 jobs at a time - we now run up to 100 jobs simultaneously and Built IT has never let us down. Support is excellent and its always easy to get in touch with Scott or Michael.

Custom changes have been no hassle and I love there customized forms - a contract that used to take 90 mins to fill out and scan, now takes 5 mins.

The min-websites used to share jobs with our trades are brilliant. Even older trades love them as they are supper easy to use. Just press the icon on their phone.

Finally, the reason we started with BuildIT is so we could organised emails, different job files and keep track of our jobs. It definitely does it all and is easy to use.

Negative: Nothing. We used BuildIT for 7 years and can honestly say that there are no cons for us.

Summary: Highly recommend this software for any company needing a tracking / scheduling system. Most importantly, there is a great support staff to back it up as well!!!

Positive: Multiple options for custom forms to suit my business needs.
Access anywhere with an internet connection.
Ability to create progress reports to track everything about the jobs being entered.

Negative: No comments to make.

Summary: This solves communication and scheduling in a click. If I am out of the office, the notes on each task line can be relayed to the homeowner to keep everyone all up to date on the work.

Positive: The program is web-based and in real time. I do not have to wait for a "cycle" over night.
The layout of the system in scheduling the jobs makes it easy to set up a job.
Gantt charts/scheduling of task can be from a template or one of your own templates per employee or sub-contractor.
Due to our client base, it really has turned into our data base for return clients
Support from the BuildIT Systems crew.

Negative: No dislikes at this time, The only Con, and it is not the fault of the program.... If the internet is on the blink, or poor service, it is difficult to continue doing business with paper and pen.

Summary: A developer/contractor for over 40 years and we have been using build-it almost since its inception. This software is a great way to connect the office to the site and vice versa. We use it to contact trades, create change orders, scheduling and email. It is a great way to keep your finger on the pulse and keep everyone in the loop making you look professional with clients and trades alike. We would highly recommend using it in your day to day operations and it is extremely easy to adapt and learn. We cannot say enough good things about the product and the team behind it.

Positive: Scheduling and setting up templates to suit your needs, communication within the company and trades, easy to customize layout, no real problems that were not handled by the developers immediately.

Negative: Have had problems on different browser platforms, ability to categorize files.

Summary: When we first switched to BuildIT over a year ago, I was resistant to give up my Outlook. I quickly learned where everything is in BuildIT because it is very intuitive. And then we realized how powerful it is to have everyone's information easily accessible to each other. It really saves time, and I can't imagine going back to my old ways!

Positive: I especially like how everything is organized by Job and Folder. So no matter who received the email or uploaded the file, it is really easy to find. I like being able to see everyone's emails in one click. The search function is fast and thorough. Build IT really keeps everyone in our company on the same page, and has been critical in keeping us efficient. The customer service is great, too!

Negative: There is no "Download All Attachments" option. Every now and then someone will send me 10 attachments, and I have to download each individually.

Summary: It can handle anything you throw at it and will be instrumental in keeping your projects working in a timely manner. If you can just maintain the discipline to use it everyday it will become second nature and a tremendous tool!

Positive: - This schedule really lets you get as detailed as you want
- The rescheduling tool works great automatically reschedules the events behind it if you want it to
- Color coded squares help you quickly keep track of tasks that have been completed or not
-The development team has always been there to help with any issue I've had or if i just needed help

Negative: - It does take a little bit of a learning curve to get used to. Kind of like switching to a different phone, give it a week or so and then you get the hang of it
- I haven't been able to print out a full gantt chart from beginning to end of one project on any sized paper

Summary: My overall experience has been very positive with Buildit Systems. If I do run into a problem, BuildIt Systems has a wonderful support staff that is there to answer any questions you may have no matter how big or small. I highly recommend this for all your contracting needs.

Positive: I like the way that I can communicate with my field personnel in regards to the scheduling. If something changes I can send them an email or text them the information. I like the ease of uploading documents into the job file.
I also like the fact that I don't need to be tied down to my desk, I can use BuildIt Systems no matter where my location is.

Negative: I guess at first this can be intimidating because BuildIt Systems has taken everything needed to run a job into consideration and then some!

Summary: I am a firm believer that process can not take more time than production. The BuildIT program is the best software I have found after months of research. I recommend this software to help add to your bottom line.

Positive: Being a general contractor for 44 years this is one of the best tools that has been added to the company. The system is very user friendly, project information is easy to find, calendar and scheduling keeps the project moving forward smoothly. We use the note section for our projects daily reports as a company record. We send the daily reports to project contractors and clients by e-mail using the dashboard information for a group mailing. Support is excellent and they communicate very quickly to help out or even added some features we requested. The company has reached out and asked how the program works for our company and do we have any suggestions to improve the software. Who does that now days?

Negative: I use this software program everyday and have no negative comments.

Summary: We have purchased BuildIt Systems Software for many years. The product has been continually enhanced and we have found it to be very thorough and intuitive.

Positive: Easy to navigate. Can get very detailed. Able to put the entire project including communications in one place. Customizable for my specific needs.

Negative: Some of the How To Videos are hokey, but they get the point across.

Summary: I cannot remember how many years we have been using it but i am guessing at least 7 and we have really had no issues and its a great product.

Positive: Easy to navigate , we can use anywhere in the world. Database saves quickly and easy to add on to. if we have any issues they are quick to respond and quick to fix if required. We have been using a long time and this is a great product.

Negative: Not really anything bad. Works for what we like and if we need it tweaked we email or call and they help us out.

Summary: I have now been using BuildIT for around 10 years and have been very happy with it.

The support I receive for any technical issues on the site is first class.

Positive: - It is great for sorting communications into the jobs they relate to.
- Scheduling is really good for giving an overall picture of how the job is tracking and what's coming up. Also great for planning.
- Everything is in one place. I use it for my calendar, to do's, notes, and backup file storage and it is all sorted by the jobs they relate to.

Negative: - File storage could be a little easier to use. Great for things that are emailed but anything I have created has to be uploaded including changing and saving files that are in the system - these need to be re uploaded.
