Bobbin Reviews

Bobbin Description

Bobbin is a handy Chrome extension designed for capturing screen recordings, whether it's a full screen, a specific window, or a browser tab, all while utilizing both a microphone and audio from the tab; it additionally offers a webcam bubble feature for screen and window captures. The extension provides a camera-only mode and is capable of recording entire screen system audio on Windows and ChromeOS devices. Videos are saved locally in MP4 format when possible, or in WebM format when not, with a maximum resolution of 1080p and a frame rate of 30 fps available in the free version. Users have the ability to pause recordings, set countdown timers, and recover footage in the event of a crash. There's no need to create an account, and the free version imposes no limitations on recording time or the number of videos, nor does it include watermarks. Bobbin is ideal for creating tutorials, lessons, bug reports, product demonstrations, support walkthroughs, and other visual explanations. It generates video files instead of hosted share links, edits, or transcripts, ensuring simplicity and ease of use. For those seeking additional features, optional Pro plans offer enhanced resolutions, higher frame rates, custom styling for the webcam bubble, and advanced recording controls. Furthermore, Bobbin is designed without any analytics or tracking features, ensuring user privacy. This makes it a solid choice for anyone wanting to create professional-quality screen recordings without unnecessary complications.
