    BlueMail is the best

    Date: Mar 13 2023

Summary: Overall the app gets 100/100, not only a great app, but the support is very helpful and responsive. We used the free version and switched to the paid one.

Positive: I've tried a lot of email apps and this is far and away my favorite. That's why our whole team switched to BlueMail from outlook.

    1. Very clean interface across all phones and computers
    2. Includes calendar and zero inbox with a kanban board!
    3. The new GEM AI feature is superb, especially for replying, it's just amazing!
    4. Very logical Settings menu.
    5. Easy to preview and delete emails including the clusters which is perfect.
6, Configured to download and sync emails for offline viewing for 2 weeks by default but can be changed.
    7. Use volume control buttons to move forwards and backwards through emails (or disable this feature). Many customizable features.
    8. Automatic dark mode according to my device mode

Negative: The only thing I'm lacking at the moment is the ability to sort the inbox by reverse order. I know not many users use it, but I find it useful sometimes. However, with the BlueMail clusters, I am able to use a similar workflow.

BlueMail user for 2 plus years

    Date: Feb 12 2023

Summary: I had been a user of Thunderbird for years and it sopped working for some reason. I searched for something that would give me as close to Thunderbird as possible and BlueMail seemed to be the answer. I am pretty much pleased with my choice. I just wish it was a little faster in its functions and offered a spellchecker.

Positive: It is easy to install and setup. It is also fairly easy to setup folders and sub folders to organize your mail. It is also free.

Negative: I have found a few things that could be improved. If I leave my computer running over night and BlueMail open the next day the whole computer is pretty much brought to a stand still. A reboot is needed to solve the speed problem. It does not have its own spelling checker. Some functions are extremely slow, such as moving an email from inbox to a specific folder. Trying to get your pointer on the small sidebar to move your folders up and down is VERY difficult.

    No Separate Message Window

    Date: Jul 04 2023

Summary: Not great due to my primary complaint.

Positive: It was ok, it worked well enough in general.

Negative: Message window does not open in it's own window like you would expect. This is a single window product so using with multiple monitors is not an option. That was how it worked when I tried it, maybe they've changed that, I did complain about it to them.

Fine unless you need access to your email

    Date: Nov 13 2024

Summary: Great when it works. They keep issuing updates that make it not work, then they eventually fix them, but in the interim they make it impossible to re-install earlier versions, so your email is completely inaccessible --- unless, of course, you install a different client, in which case you really don't need BlueMail. I'm switching to Thunderbird.

    Positive: It sometimes works well.

Negative: They have a habit of issuing "updates" that make the software completely unusable. The latest adventure: Following an update last week, every time you try to open an email, a completely random different email pops up instead of the one you selected. The good: They instantly responded to email, acknowledged the issue, and said they were prioritizing a fix. The bad: They've aggressively made it impossible to roll back to the last version, so until they get around to that fix, email is essentially unusable.

Doesn't run very well on Linux, so many issues.

    Date: Dec 29 2023

Summary: The overall experience has been very poor. due to inability to attache files. Also very slow to start.

Positive: With the snap package its impossible to attach any files as all you see is small square boxes, no names at all. I have contacted support a couple of times and they were no help at all. The program is also extremely slow at everything, will be trying a different email client from now on.

Negative: Inability to attach any files all I can see is squares. its a common issue with snap programs.
