Summary: It's always the first tool I install when I setup a new machine after the source control software, it's that good. I would be lost without it. Seeing the code changes in color makes everything so easy.
Positive: It supports so many programming languages and you can even import others. You can customize so many things, from the UI to the comparison rules of a particular language. You can integrate it with basically all the source control tools available. You can even compare folder structures or raw data files, not just source code.
Negative: Text editing features are not quite up to par as the comparison features. It does not have text select by column. There is no search window, which would be better, it's just a tool bar.
