B3 Benchmarking Description

B3 Benchmarking is a program funded by the Minnesota Departments of Commerce and Administration. It gives Minnesota public building owners the power of energy data to manage and reduce their energy costs. Benchmark energy modeling, peer comparisons and ENERGY STAR®, scores, target tracking and dynamic reporting all help you understand your buildings' performance. Buildings, Benchmarks, and Beyond (B3) gives you access to the power of building energy data. The online tool uses basic building and meter information to summarize energy consumption, costs, carbon emissions, and other relevant information in digestible monthly or annual reports for Minnesota public schools. You can reduce your energy consumption and free up money for core services. B3 Benchmarking is a tool that helps you make sure your building is performing and operating as it should. It also screens buildings to determine which buildings will provide the highest return on investment.
