Azure IoT Edge Description

Azure IoT hub is the platform that Azure IoT edge uses to provide a fully managed service. You can deploy your cloud workloads, third-party services, and artificial intelligence to run on Internet of Things edge devices using standard containers. Your devices will spend less time communicating with cloud services, respond faster to local changes, and work reliably even when offline. You can deploy models that you have trained in the cloud, and then run them on-premises. If you deploy a predictive modeling to a factory camera to test quality control, and an issue is detected by IoT Edge, an alert will be triggered and the data processed locally or sent to the cloud for further analysis. Your edge devices can be operated securely and reliably even when they are offline or have intermittent connectivity to cloud. Azure IoT Edge device management automatically synchronizes the most recent state of your devices.
