    Interesting Concept

    Date: May 03 2023

Summary: I think AuthArmor is a promising startup, and to my knowledge is the only SaaS offering focused exclusively on passwordless auth.

Positive: Focused specifically on password-less authentication, which I feel is the future. I always loved Microsoft Authenticator's push-notification based authentication and AuthArmor makes this type of auth available to anyone.

It also supports WebAuthn, which is a lot more secure than passwords but still quite convenient.

Negative: There isn't any blockchain-based authentication support yet. I think it will be good to have support for auth using, e.g. an Ethereum account. OIDC auth is also not yet supported.

The best hardened authentication/authorization service on the market.

    Edited: Apr 27 2023

Summary: Great is the word, there is a documentation site to make understanding how to integrate and the mobile apps are also widely accessible as well.

Positive: The idea that AuthArmor is not just about the idea of having an authentication/authorization service easy to integrate, but it goes further to ensure the actual authentication/authorization experience is super secure.

Negative: The developer experience as of 27th/04/2023. But from my communication with them, they will be making huge overhauls this year, so that should be good/solved for.

    Powerful and secure 2FA app

    Date: Mar 17 2023

Summary: Auth Armor is a great 2FA app with features most alternatives lack. It has a focus on security and has advanced functionality that is useful for businesses.

Positive: Auth Armor provides 2FA without needing to type in one-time codes. Push notifications handle authorizations which makes the process very easy and intuitive. The app and design are security focused. Offers features alternatives lack.

Negative: Some users may be unfamiliar with push-based 2FA but the process is seamless and easy to get used to.

    It is a reliable service

    Edited: Mar 11 2023

Summary: We wanted to implement 2fa in our app and website and it was a really good approach to use -better than copy and paste with short codes, it uses passwordless push notification with biometrics on mobile devices which is amazing for our users' experience.

Positive: It is fast and reliable with no down time and adds a good/affordable way to authenticate users to make sure everything is easy.

Negative: To be honest I still didn't came across any cons or issues yet!
