Summary: My experience has been great! I diverged momentarily to a large platform that offered a much greater audience, but I find Auction Method much easier to use.

Positive: The platform is easy to use, great support, and customer friendly.
Flat monthly rate with no percentage fee.

Negative: It is a BYOB (bring your own bidders) site. But that is not as bad as it sounds.

Summary: I couldn’t be happier with this auction software. It makes setting up and running auctions simple, fast, and stress-free. My buyers love how smooth the bidding process is, and I love the time I save with the built-in automation. It’s honestly made auctions at the charity run better, and I have recommended Auction Method to all of my fellow local liquidators.

Summary: This was probably the best platform to use for a one-off auction with over $300k worth of inventory. Daniel and his team were extremely nice and helpful, and the platform was overall easy to use and quite intuitive. Other than some issues with the Simulcast AV, I would recommend this platform to anyone looking to auction off products!

Summary: We began using AuctionMethod in March 2024 after trying two other platforms, and it has been an excellent decision for our business. As a white-label, web-based software, it allowed us to seamlessly transition while keeping our brand front and center. Auction Method even set up our website, and their built-in customization tools are simple to use and quick to update. When we notified our email database of the platform change, our customers had no trouble adjusting—which speaks to how user-friendly the system is.

The mobile app for cataloging auctions has been a game-changer. It works without an internet connection, and all updates sync once service is restored. I tested this in airplane mode, and it worked flawlessly. Auction setup is straightforward, especially once templates are created, and the process of closing an auction and sending invoices is impressively fast. I’ve even handled invoicing from the tailgate of my truck using a laptop and hotspot in just minutes.

The value Auction Method delivers for its cost is outstanding. One of our most-used features is the whitelist bidder function for real estate auctions. Every bidder must request approval before bidding, and we require them to e-sign our terms and review the property information before being approved. This feature gives us complete control and peace of mind, even with past buyers.

Overall, AuctionMethod’s features and performance have been an excellent fit for our company. From ease of use to customer support and pricing, we couldn’t be more pleased with the software.

White label so if you are looking for a platform to bring you bidders. This is not what you need.

Summary: The price and excellent service at AuctionMethod is what keeps us raving about the product. We've been using the software for going on 6 years now and look forward to continuing with the product!

Positive: We have been in business since 2012. In 2018 we began experience growing pains and our website auction software was unable to handle the amount of traffic and items we had on a weekly basis. I'm very slow for change but after our site kept crashing and we had to restart auctions I decided to reach out and find out what AuctionMethod was all about. Daniel and his team walked us thru the change of the platform. We haven't experienced any crashes of the website nor slowness on the bidding end. It was an adjustment for our staff and customers to get used to at first but I am very very thankful we did the switch. Our site was able to look the same with way more features and accessibility. We love it! Bidding is more fun than having to refresh a page constantly. We have a lot of volume of items weekly so we've pushed the software as hard as we can.

Negative: We've tweaked a lot of things with the software and the team has been very helpful. There have been rare occasions where we have declined an upgrade because of a cost. Everything is developed by the team at AuctionMethod and sometimes it's time consuming so I understand their business model.

Summary: 100% Recommend. If you are looking for an easy to use platform for both the operator as well as the users this is your go to.

Summary: AuctionMethod is a solid choice. Once you get the hang of it, it handles pretty much every part of running an online auction. Great if you want control and don’t mind a bit of a learning curve up front. Definitely worth it if you're running auctions regularly.

Positive: Handles everything from creating auction listings to email reminders to invoicing in one system. We use the mobile cataloging tools all the time and it makes the whole process way smoother.

Negative: Takes some time to learn the back end. Would be nice to have a few more marketing tools built in.
