Summary: Top of the line features, geared specifically toward the tree care industry. This makes it the perfect fit for the type of reports I need to produce and interpret.

Positive: Easy to access reports and data cells. Dozens of ways to sort through clients and information. Easy to create and interpret analytical reports.

Negative: Took a bit of time to get used to the switch from more traditional accounting software. Glad I did though.

Summary: A superior service to other platforms we've tried in the past. This one is specific to the arborist niche, making it an ideal fit for us.

Positive: Excellent array of modules that have helped my company at both the micro and macro level to scale effectively. Very good customer service and roll out.

Negative: Nothing yet; will update if anything changes on that front.

Summary: A very helpful platform that has greatly increased my productivity. Would definitely recommend it.

Positive: Really helps me to make estimates quickly and easily and send them down the pipeline. I especially like the auto-estimate feature, as it's bang-on a lot more often than I would have thought.

Negative: I encountered what I thought was a bug on iOS when I first started using the software, but after reaching out to the customer service team, I realized it was on my end.

Summary: I will always recommend this tool to any tree care business. I have been using ArboStar for some time now and I don't think I could see myself switching to any other tool. It's exactly what I wanted when searching for a business management platform and I'm not looking back..

Positive: ArboStar is very user-friendly and customizable to fit my business. Their customer service team is quite impressive and they go out of their way to assist you with any questions you may have and are willing to take suggestions from end-users. This really helps make the software even better.

Negative: Well, the one thing I would love to see on the platform is an advanced search option. That would make things a bit more convenient, so I hope they add something like that in the future.

Summary: ArboStar is a 5/5 for me without question. The software is easy to use and organized with efficiency in mind. And the customer service team is friendly and speedy if I have any questions or issues. Very pleased with this platform.

Positive: I'm able to quickly and easily set up text and email messages and notifications to our clients with ease. There is a ton of functionality and customizability that allows me to keep our customers happy and engaged. The support tickets are populated within the app and can be answered quickly and easily without switching apps. Everything can be organized by countless filters.

Negative: So far I don't have a single bad word to say about the platform. I'll update this review if anything comes up, but it really has everything I need to do my job – a big step up from the software my team was using before.

Summary: I'm very happy our company made the switch to ArboStar. It's custom-tailored to the tree-care industry and has excellent report generation and data analysis tools. Highly recommended for its financial and accounting features alone.

Positive: Excellent report generation. It pulls financial data from the other modules and auto-populates the reports module with said data, allowing for easier and more accurate reports free from human error. This makes it a breeze to generate any and all reports that I think might be useful and might steer the company in a better financial direction. These reports have also shown us where we're overspending and where we can trim the fat to save on expenses.

Negative: Nothing to criticize. There were a couple of bugs (I was a fairly early adopter of the app), but these were taken care of within the first week that we started using the software and weren't anything major anyway.

Summary: From a boots on the ground perspective, I think this app is great. The app works right from my smartphone and allows me to do my job quicker and immediately resolve any issues that come up. I've started to see it as another essential tool in my toolkit. A couple weeks ago I forgot to charge my phone, so I had to borrow my wife's which didn't have the app installed, and it felt like I was missing a vital tool throughout the day. That just shows me how useful ArboStar has become to my daily work.

Positive: App has made my job a lot easier. I show up on site, and there's GPS-tagged pictures of the trees with descriptions of what exactly needs doing. No more second-guessing if I'm removing the wrong tree. Now I can just show up on site and do the job. It also makes it super easy to contact other team members as well as keep track of all our vehicles. Very pleased with this app.

Negative: I'm not a tech-guy at all. I'm lucky if I can get Netflix to work. So I was a little unhappy at first when we were told we had to start using this software. But honestly, it didn't take too long to learn, and now it makes my job way easier. So if you're like me and don't like fancy apps, don't worry. Everything is laid out in a way that makes sense, and I'm shocked at how easy it was to get familiar with. Now it's like second-nature to me.

Summary: Am very pleased with this software and have no plans to go back. Everything is divided into modules, and each module is a gem in its one right. I haven't poked around too much outside of what my current role at my business demands, but the modules I've personally used have all been very easy to understand and incredibly efficient.

Positive: Previously, our company only used catch-all software that was designed to handle every industry. I never knew that the same type of software is out there for the tree-care industry. Making the switch was great, as having software specific to the tree-care niche gives us access to tools we didn't previously have. Things like fleet management and HR issues are obviously specific to the tree-care industry, so having software that's specific to those issues allows us to be so much more efficient. Issues can be handled right in the app, and the fleet management module is particularly useful compared to our previous software.

Negative: As with any new technology, there's a learning period that you have to go through to truly become comfortable with the software. I used my old software for many years, so at first I was hesitant to switch. But ArboStar is just better suited for the tree-care industry than the catch-all software our business used, so I'm glad I took the time to learn a new system.

Summary: The entire platform has been really enjoyable to work with. It's just so much easier than what I'm used to. I'm still getting the hang of things, but as far as my job is concerned, it makes it a whole lot simpler.

Positive: This app makes it a breeze to send messages to potential and current clients. No more messing with calendars and schedules trying to figure out when to send messages to which customer. Everything can be automated to send my texts and emails to whom I want, when I want. Makes my life a whole lot easier, and that's a pro in my book! It also allows my customers to communicate back to ME in a very easy way. It has an intuitive ticket system that allows me to see all potential issues, and respond to them in the order they came in.

Negative: No current issues. I did have one bug involving the ticket resolution service, but I brought it up to ArboStar and it was fixed within 24 hours.

Summary: The learning curve has been challenging but engaging, as there are so many features to work with. The features all make life easier though, so even if they take a bit of time to initially learn, they more than make up for it in the long run. I personally would never go back to my old way of doing things. The integration is just great with ArboStar, and they're apparently adding more features as people request them, so that's a big plus too.

Positive: I love the auto-estimate feature. It learns what types of estimates you have made in the past, and auto-suggest an estimate that you can tweak if you find it too high or too low. This has taken a lot of the guesswork out of the situation, as often the estimate is dead-on. The pipeline from initial estimate to work orders is also very efficient. Once I confirm an estimate, I can send it right over in the app and it just moves down through the system. It's a really effortless interface and makes things easy.

Negative: I suppose the only con would be if you wanted to use this app for a different field. It is specifically designed for the arborist niche, so make sure you keep that in mind. My friend runs a painting company, and while I wish I could suggest this to him, it just is too specific to the tree care industry. But if you deal with trees, this is the app you want!

Summary: I'm really glad our company made the switch. Initially, I didn't want to, as I know QuickBooks and it's what I've used for over a decade now. But as this software is tailored specifically to the tree care industry, it really is superior for our uses.

Positive: Better than QuickBooks. For any people in accounting out there, that's basically all I need to say! This app makes everything so much more streamlined: invoicing, payments, record-keeping, you name it. I wasn't sure what to expect when I was asked to switch to this app, but after the first week I was sold.

Negative: Nothing to really complain about. Sometimes I get a bit confused with where certain features are located, but I can refer to the documentation to sort that out. I also have only been using the software for a few months now, and the more I use it, the less confused I get, which is always a good sign!

Summary: I've been using ArboStar for about a month now, and am so far very impressed with what I've seen so far. It makes my job so much easier – it allows me to take down customer information into as many cells as needed, and automatically create estimates, work orders, and invoices. There haven't been any hiccups in the process at all, and any time I don't know how to use a particular feature, I can reach out to ArboStar and get a prompt and helpful answer.

Positive: Very streamlined, which in the customer service world, is absolutely everything. Instead of having to juggle multiple apps while I'm on a call with a client, I can simply let one app do all of the work. Honestly, I wish the company I work for had started using software like this when I first joined the team.

Negative: There's definitely a bit of a learning curve when it comes to getting the most out of the app. I personally started off slow and used the features that made sense to me, and incorporated new ones into my work process as I understood them. Just don't expect to understand everything the app offers on day one. It took me some tinkering around to really get used to everything.

Summary: This software has helped us grow within a short period of time. They also have a great support team and a very easy app to take control over every estimation request.

Positive: We love the simplicity of it. It helps streamline our workflow and keeps the jobs organized. We love that it's compatible with QuickBooks, as keeping our books straight is very important to us.

Negative: I would love to see more features be added to the mobile app.

Summary: This app has been a huge time-save for me. Everything in the app is streamlined and easy to use. As far as apps go, this one is definitely on the cleaner side of things. Everything is logically placed and easy to find, which makes my job that much easier. I definitely wouldn't want to go back to the old way of doing things.

Positive: Incredibly easy to use, feature-rich, and works great on both my PC and my iPhone. The built in GPS features are second to none, and make the actual work so much more accurate. You can literally mark individual trees on the app, eliminating any confusion when it comes to getting the work done.

Negative: As easy as this app is to get used to, there are so many features and report options that it can definitely seem overwhelming at first. What I did was just tackle each part piece by piece, getting to know each feature before moving onto the next. But if you just tried to dive in and started tapping around wildly, you might find yourself in over your head. Make sure to follow the instructions and take some notes if you have trouble with feature-rich apps.

Summary: ArboStar has definitely changed the way my business runs, for the better. I'm a traditional guy, and while technology is part of my job, I always like to be very careful before I add the latest trends to my workflow. But ArboStar has been incredibly helpful in allowing me to save a ton of time by taking care of the more monotonous tasks I usually have to do manually. I have no plans to go back to the old way of doing things, that's for sure.

Positive: ArboStar has a lot of ways that it can automate my daily tasks. This alone for me has been a game changer. I no longer have to send out each individual email and sms message to my clients, I no longer have to remember which invoices still need to be sent, and which clients I haven't spoken to in a while. Everything is done within the app and so much can be set up automatically.
The app is also surprisingly easy to learn. Like I said, I'm more old-school in my approach, so I thought there might be a steep learning curve, but honestly within the first week of using the app I was already getting the hang of it. And I'd imagine someone even more tech-savvy than me could get into the swing of things even faster.

Negative: I really don't have anything to complain about. I'm wondering if there are more features that I don't even know exist, because I feel like I'm constantly discovering more that this app can do. Maybe I could do with some big documentation that can help to explain the potential of every feature.
